Beating Ronaldo! BTS’s Jimin Tops Peak Social Media Mentions at Paris Fashion Week

BTS member Jimin drew remarkable attention by surpassing 1.5 million X mentions related to his attendance at Dior Men 2027 Summer Collection Show, held in Paris, France, on the day of the event.
The number of Jimin-related mentions exceeded Cristiano Ronaldo's 1.3 million and Lionel Messi's 1.26 million. Jimin attended the fashion show as Dior's global ambassador on the 24th local time.
On Talkwalker, which aggregates public online data from X, Instagram, Facebook, blogs, news websites, and more to show the fastest-growing hashtags worldwide, hashtags related to Jimin and the Dior Summer 27 event ranked in the worldwide real-time hashtag trending Top 10. Immediately after the fashion show, the hashtag '#JIMINxDIOR' took first place in the U.S. real-time trends, and then rose to No. 1 in real-time trends in Brazil and Taiwan as well.

Local media in Paris and major European and American outlets described the atmosphere and photos from the event, responding with remarks such as "the prince poets had imagined" and "Dior Prince Jimin." Brazilian journalist Roberta Jungmann said that Jimin was one of the biggest talking points during this Paris Fashion Week and one of the most mentioned figures on social media immediately after the event, adding that fans praised his presence and influence and call him the "Prince of Dior."

Meanwhile, Jimin will continue the European tour that began in Madrid, Spain, on the 26th local time with his BTS members, continuing on to Brussels, Belgium; London, United Kingdom; Munich, Germany; and Paris, France.
