BTS’ “Arirang” ranks No. 4 on the U.S. Billboard 200… staying in the top tier for the 5th consecutive week

According to a chart preview article posted on Billboard's official website on the 26th (local time), BTS's fifth full-length album 'Arirang' (ARIRANG) ranked No. 4 on the main album chart, the 'Billboard 200' (dated May 2).

Along with stable chart performance, steady consumer demand stands out. According to Billboard, 'Arirang' recorded 62,000 album units on this week's chart. This total is calculated by combining physical and digital sales, SEA units (sales converted from streaming counts), and TEA units (sales converted from digital track download counts).

'Arirang' proved its popularity by holding its place near the top of the Billboard charts even in its fifth week since release. As time passes, it is expected to sustain long-term success by being chosen by a broader audience, maintaining its position in the top 5. The success of 'Arirang' marks the glamorous beginning of 'BTS 2.0.' In particular, it is meaningful that the album, which reflects the group's identity and future direction, resonated with music fans around the world.

On the 25th, BTS kicked off 'BTS WORLD TOUR 'ARIRANG' IN NORTH AMERICA' at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, USA. This North American tour will take place across 31 shows in 12 cities, including Mexico City, Las Vegas, and Chicago. All tickets sold out quickly for every show. Following the Tampa performances on the 25th, 26th, and 28th, they will meet fans at Sun Bowl Stadium in El Paso on May 2 and 3. BTS is the first Korean singer to hold a solo concert at that stadium.
