BTS’ RM Breaks Through Heavy Rain to Finish the Concert: “It Took Six and a Half Years”

RM, the leader of the group BTS, shared a heartfelt message with fans after finishing the Goyang concert.

On the 9th, RM posted a group photo taken with the members on his SNS and left a short but meaningful message, saying that it had taken "a whopping six and a half years." In the photo, all seven members, including Jung Kook, Jin, V, Jimin, Suga, and J-Hope, were gathered together with bright expressions, delighting fans.

RM then added, "I sincerely thank everyone who was with us on site," and "I will do my best so that we can show you even better sides of ourselves in the future. I love you," expressing his affection for fans.

BTS held the first show of its world tour, 'BTS WORLD TOUR ARIRANG,' on the main stadium of Goyang Sports Complex on the same day. The performance was notable for introducing a 360-degree viewing structure centered on the stage, designed so that audiences could enjoy vibrant performances from any direction.

In particular, despite sudden heavy rain pouring down on the day of the concert, the audience stayed in their seats to the end wearing raincoats and sent passionate support, and the members responded with an even more energetic stage, heightening the atmosphere on site.

This tour will begin in Goyang and continue to major cities around the world, including Tokyo, North America, and Europe, for a total of 85 performances. Of these, 46 shows have already sold out, and it is reported that about 2.4 million spectators in North America and Europe alone are waiting for the concerts.
