Jungkook of BTS ranks on the Billboard Global Charts for the 135th and 138th weeks, marking Asia's first-ever ultra-long-running chart record

Bangtan Sonyeondan (BTS) member Jungkook continued his streak of ultra-long record achievements on the Billboard charts, highlighting his global presence.

According to Billboard's March 14 'Global 200' chart, Jungkook's first solo debut song 'Seven' ranked at No. 171. The song entered the chart for the 135th week, the first and longest-running entry among all Asian groups and solo artists.

'Seven' was No. 87 on Billboard's 'Global (excluding U.S.)' chart released the same day. The song also achieved its 138th week on that chart, becoming the first and longest-running entry by an Asian solo artist, proving its popularity as a global hit.

'Seven' rose to No. 67 on Billboard Korea's 'Hot 100' chart, up from the previous week. On Billboard's 'Global K-Songs' chart, 'Seven' was No. 13, 'Standing Next To You' was No. 43, and '3D' was No. 64. It also remained at No. 2 on Billboard Vietnam's 'Hot 100' chart, maintaining steady strength across various parts of Asia.

Jungkook has reached No. 1 on both the Billboard 'Global 200' and 'Global (excluding U.S.)' charts with 'Seven', 'Standing Next To You', and '3D'. He has placed 17 and 18 songs on the two charts respectively, remaining a total of 270 and 321 weeks. He also set the record for the most awards among K-pop solo artists by winning three trophies at the Billboard Music Awards over two years.

'Seven' was selected as Billboard's 2023 'Global Song of the Summer' No. 1, and in the '2024 International Power Players' it ranked No. 1 as the most popular song across about 200 countries and regions excluding the United States. Jungkook was ranked No. 1 on the '2024 Billboard K-Pop Artist 100' and was also included in the '2023 Top Pop Stars' list.
