BTS Jin Is Left Alone in the Credits for 'Arirang'... 'Not Convinced' Fans Erupt [X's Issue]

(Xportsnews Reporter Jang In-young) The group's Bangtan Sonyeondan (BTS)'s new release credits omitted Jin's name.

On the 20th, to celebrate the release of their 5th full-length album 'ARIRANG', they held a full-group live broadcast.

While discussing the album, RM said, "Each member's unique color is present," and expressed regret, "Honestly, if Jin's tour had ended just a bit sooner, he would have joined."

V explained, "There was time to work together, but his condition wasn't good. He kept going on tour," and RM also admitted, "He worked very hard. It was a shame."

Jimin added, "Thanks to him protecting the team, the album could be released," and Jin said, "I'm glad many cool songs came out."

When the members held a 'song camp' together in the United States to work on the new album, Jin — who had been discharged first and embarked on solo activities — was carrying out tour dates. The song camp period overlapped with Jin's tour, so ultimately Jin could not have his name listed in the 'ARIRANG' credits.

During the conversation, Jin's expression suddenly hardened. Jungkook, who was beside him, silently patted Jin's shoulder and quietly offered comfort.

Afterwards, various reactions continued among the fandom.

Some fans poured out reactions such as, "Couldn't the song camp schedule have been pushed back?", "How do you adjust a tour that's already been scheduled?", "The reason the schedules overlapped is not convincing", "It somehow seems like they're blaming Jin", "This is the first time I've seen Seokjin (Jin's real name) make that expression", "That's too much."

Additionally, some complained that although Jin joined in the United States after finishing his tour, the album work had already been completed.

Meanwhile, Bangtan Sonyeondan released 'ARIRANG' on the 20th and opened their comeback with 'BTS Comeback Live: ARIRANG' held around Gwanghwamun Square on the 21st. They will appear as a group on the US NBC's 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon' airing on the 26th–27th.
