[Breaking] Ankle injury for BTS's RM, but he will still take the stage: "Choreography and some performances are expected to be restricted"

Group Bangtan Sonyeondan (BTS) leader RM sustained an ankle injury during a performance rehearsal two days before the comeback show and underwent a detailed examination.

Examination results diagnosed RM with 'accessory navicular sprain and partial ligament tear' and 'talar sprain', and medical staff recommended remaining in a cast and minimizing movement for at least two weeks to focus on recovery.

However, RM is reportedly determined to take the stage at the free comeback performance 'BTS Comeback Live: Arirang' held at Gwanghwamun Square. His agency BigHit Music said it would prioritize medical opinions and decided to minimize RM's movements during the comeback show to prevent aggravation of the injury, and that some performances, such as choreography, will be restricted.

RM told fans via Weverse Live, "I will go on stage, it is not a very serious injury, so I will manage it well until the concert and show you a good performance."

Meanwhile, Bangtan Sonyeondan (BTS) will hold the free comeback performance 'BTS Comeback Live: Arirang' at Gwanghwamun Square on the 21st at 8:00 PM.
