Blackpink’s Met Gala grades revealed… Lisa and Rosé labeled “worst,” Jisoo and Jennie “best”

As the group BLACKPINK attended the 2026 Met Gala, held on the 4th at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, USA, mixed reviews from overseas fashion magazines are drawing attention.

U.S. magazine Cosmopolitan, in an article titled “The 20 Best- and Worst-Dressed Celebs at the 2026 Met Gala,” selected both the best- and worst-dressed celebrities. Among them, Lisa and Rosé were named to the worst-dressed list.

Cosmopolitan described Lisa’s outfit as “a dramatic, eye-catching look like a living work of art,” but noted disappointment, saying that “the arm-like decoration looks unnatural, like a mannequin’s arm.”

Rosé’s styling also received mixed reviews. The outlet said, “At first glance, it stands out for its restrained sophistication, but on closer look, the embellishments appear like cardboard covered in glitter,” adding that it felt “more like a handcrafted item than haute couture.”

On the other hand, other media offered contrasting evaluations. People magazine selected Lisa as one of its 18 best-dressed celebrities, praising the custom outfit, which reportedly took about 3,000 hours to make, along with thousands of crystal embellishments and the original arm-shaped detail.

Vogue also included Lisa in its list of 67 best-dressed celebrities, and Jisoo was likewise named to the list. W Magazine chose Jennie as one of its 18 best-dressed celebrities, while Elle selected Jisoo as one of its 13 best-dressed celebrities.

Although the BLACKPINK members received different evaluations from each fashion magazine, the fact that major fashion publications rushed to spotlight their styling shows their continuing influence as global fashion icons.
