BLACKPINK's Jisoo: 'Even when I was afraid, I couldn't stop'... Confession of one year since going solo

BLACKPINK's Jisoo looked back on one year as a solo artist and said, "I learned that even if I'm afraid, I can't stop."

Fashion magazine 'Harper's Bazaar Korea' recently released a pictorial featuring BLACKPINK's Jisoo and Tommy Hilfiger. As a global ambassador, Jisoo expressed the brand's identity with her own sensibility and made her presence felt.

The pictorial, with the concept 'Perfect Day', was shot against the backdrop of a sunlit mansion and a sandy beach. Jisoo naturally carried off the spring/summer collection with an elegant yet relaxed atmosphere.

In the interview conducted after the shoot, Jisoo also shared her impressions of filming the recently released 'Wolgan Namchin'. She said, "It was the first time I portrayed a character who could exist somewhere in reality," and added, "I empathized with the character as if I were listening to a peer friend's concerns."

Regarding changes after finishing BLACKPINK's world tour 'DEADLINE', she said, "Each member's individuality remains, but the stage felt new," explaining, "With each person's color added, the visuals became richer."

In particular, about the past year she spent as a solo artist, Jisoo said, "It was fulfilling in itself that people empathized with the songs I like," and added, "I learned that even if I'm afraid of a new challenge, I can't stop."

She added, "I feel that this process is growth for me."
