Blackpink Jisoo’s older brother draws attention… co-founds a one-person agency

On the 17th, photos and profiles of a person identified as Jisoo's older brother, Mr. Kim, were posted widely across various online communities and social media platforms.

The posts included claims that the individual established a one-person agency with Jisoo and is married, with a wife and children. It was reported that the released photos contained scenes presumed to be from family events as well as everyday moments.

Related to this, privacy controversy that had been raised in the past is also drawing renewed attention. In May last year, a post was uploaded to an anonymous workplace community identifying Mr. Kim and claiming that "an intimate scene was filmed without consent." The author said, "I heard that the video was shared with acquaintances," and stated that they were considering legal action. However, Mr. Kim's side refuted this, saying, "That claim is completely untrue," and added, "We are discussing it with a law firm and preparing to file a complaint." The post has since been deleted.

Meanwhile, after leaving YG Entertainment, Jisoo joined hands with her older brother and established her personal corporation, "Blissoo," continuing her independent activities. As the corporation's representative was said to be Mr. Kim, public interest in the family has continued. Jisoo also recently drew attention for her generous flex of gifting luxury bags to employees.

Jisoo recently expanded her reach by meeting global viewers through the Netflix series "Monthly Boyfriend." The work reportedly achieved results such as entering the Top 10 in Netflix's non-English TV category shortly after release.
