2AM Lee Chang-min, 'Nameless Legend' Final Ranking 6th

"Trot was a great source of strength"

Lee Chang-min, formerly of the idol group 2AM, left a deep lingering impression on viewers with "Bin Jige" and took 6th place in the final ranking of "Mungmyeong Jeonseol."

Singer Lee Chang-min ranked 6th overall in "Mungmyeong Jeonseol," earning a place in the TOP7.

Lee Chang-min appeared on the MBN trot audition program aired on the 13th, "Mungmyeong Jeonseol - Battle of Rankings Among Trot Men," (hereinafter "Mungmyeong Jeonseol") and performed in the second round of the final, the "Life Signature Song Mission."

Lee Chang-min, ahead of the final, visited his music mentor and shared sincere conversation. As he took on a new challenge, he conveyed his genuine feelings about music and moved many viewers.

Lee Chang-min honestly admitted, "During a really difficult time, the genre called trot became a great source of strength for me," adding, "All the contestants each have their own desperation, but I feel just as desperate."

He also took the stage with a solemn determination, saying, "Since this is my final performance, I will do my very best and create a stage with no regrets," and selected Namjin's "Bin Jige." With his distinctive, deeply moving voice and profound emotion, Lee Chang-min delivered a highly immersive performance and left a strong afterglow.

After the stage, Lim Han-byul praised him, saying, "I really liked the song sung in such a low voice," and added, "It seems like you entered 'Mungmyeong Jeonseol' carrying many expectations, and you shared many things inside that load with the contestants and judges. I was impressed that you put down all that burden and gave your final performance with a light heart." He then offered encouragement, saying, "I hope you will continue to fill that empty jige with even more diverse things in the future."

In the final rankings revealed at the end of the broadcast, Lee Chang-min placed 6th and was confirmed as a member of the TOP7. Through this challenge, Lee Chang-min once again proved his potential as a versatile entertainer who can handle not only ballads but also various genres. Attention is now focused on what musical path he will follow next, whether pop ballads or adult contemporary songs.

Lee Chang-min recently successfully completed the Hong Kong performance of the 2026 2AM concert "Today, 2AM," and is scheduled to meet fans with the Seoul performances on June 13 and 14.
