Daegu Olle Palgongsan Course 6 ‘Road to Dansanji’ is a trekking course that opened in April 2010. According to official tourism data, the length is 7.2km, the standard time required is about 2 hours and 30 minutes, and it is guided as a one-way route rather than a round trip.
The start is the Bullo-dong Ancient Tombs Public Parking Lot at 335, Bullo-dong, Dong-gu, Daegu, and the end point is Bongmujeong. The sections follow the order of a loop around the Bullo-dong Ancient Tombs, the Gyeongbu Expressway underpass, the area around Yeongshin Elementary, Middle, and High Schools, Bongmu Park, Dansanji, Manbo Walkway, and Bongmu-dong village road.

Why it starts at 213 Ancient Tombs from the Three Kingdoms Period
The first scene of the course, Bullo-dong Ancient Tombs, is a site presumed to be a collective tomb of a local ruling force that dominated this area during the Three Kingdoms Period. Daegu tourism data introduces the number of restored ancient tombs as 213, and the path begins with a loop around the ancient tomb complex.
Palgongsan Course 6 is not just a walking path along a lake, but a structure that moves from the ancient tomb complex to village roads and parks. Since you pass through the Gyeongbu Expressway underpass when moving from the tomb complex to Bongmu Park, first-time visitors are better off looking at the information map at the starting point to avoid confusing the walking route inside the tomb complex with the Olle markings.

Dansanji is a reservoir where water flowing from the valleys of Palgongsan gathers, and it is located inside Bongmu Park. Course 6 is not a dedicated circular path around the entire lake, but a path that leads to Bongmu-dong via Dansanji and the Manbo Walkway.
The Dansanji area was equipped with park infrastructure with the opening of Bongmu Park in October 1992. There are walking trails, observatories, benches, bicycle racks, and restrooms. The Butterfly Ecology Learning Center, Insect Experience Center, Rose of Sharon Garden, campsite, children's playground, tennis court, basketball court, and badminton court are also listed as park facilities.

However, Course 6 is written as proceeding to the Manbo Walkway crossroads along the right mountain path. After the Manbo Walkway, you pass through the Bongmu-dong Cave Fortification, also known as Dansangul. In some past materials, Gangdong Saemaul Hall is marked as the end point, but exploration records from 2020 and 2022 state that the direction changed after the Manbo Walkway crossroads, making Bongmujeong the exit point. Do not rely solely on end point markings on old maps or blogs; prioritize on-site signposts and the latest information boards.

How to Start with Express 1 or 401, and Return from the End Point
To start by public transportation, directions are given to take the Express 1 or 401 bus from Exit 2 of Ayanggyo Station on Daegu Metro Line 1 and get off at the 'Bullo-dong Ancient Tombs' stop. According to exploration records, the bus ride from Ayanggyo Station to the stop is about 10 minutes.
If you are accessing Dansanji directly, there is information to take Express 1 from the Dongdaegu Station Underpass 2 stop and get off at the Esiapolis The Sharp 2nd Apartment stop and walk for about 10 minutes. When returning from the vicinity of Bongmujeong, it is introduced that you can move towards Bullo-dong Ancient Tombs or Ayanggyo Station using Express 1 and 401.
