Onggijonggi Happiness Village is a real residential alley in Ipseok-dong, Dong-gu, Daegu Metropolitan City. Therefore, rather than taking only mural photos and heading back immediately, it is better to slowly walk a full loop along the walking path built on the former tracks. The recommended stay time is 30 to 50 minutes, and since it is a lived-in residential area with narrow alleyways, you should avoid loud noise, long filming sessions, and entering private property.

By public transportation, the guide indicates about a 13-minute walk from Exit 1 of Dongchon Station on Daegu Metro Line 1. The Daegu tourism guide says that vehicles can park near Second Ipseok Bridge. At night, a route that does not disturb residents' lives is more important than viewing murals, and it is not suitable for large group filming or using loud speakers.

Connecting the former Dongchon Station at 0.3 km to Dongchon Amusement Park at 1.6 km

About 0.3 km from the village is the former Dongchon Station building in Daegu. This is a place where the old Dongchon Station was repurposed into a small library in 2014; inside, railway equipment once used at Dongchon Station is on display, and the former railway track has been preserved outside. It is a good combination for extending the story of the village's discontinued railway one step further.

Next, Ayang Railway is about 0.8 km away, the National Shinam Martyrs' Park is about 1.4 km away, and Dongchon Amusement Park is about 1.6 km away. Ayang Railway is a place where the old Daegu Line railway bridge was transformed into a cultural space, and the completion ceremony was held on December 23, 2013. If you walk in the order of village → former Dongchon Station building → Ayang Railway, you can tie together the traces of the discontinued railway into a half-day itinerary.

If you want to see the paths built on the old railway and the alley plants together, daytime when the weather is stable is preferable, and during cherry blossom season, filming that does not block pedestrian passage is necessary.

On the other hand, for travelers who want to spend a long time enjoying cafes, exhibition spaces, or permanent hands-on experiences, it may be short as a stand-alone destination. No entrance facility or fixed guided explanation time has been confirmed here, and the house of the village interpreter is only listed as a facility that can be used. The visit purpose becomes clearer when planned together with railway heritage, murals, Dongchon Station building, and Ayang Railway.
