The best time to visit is during a mild season such as spring or autumn. Since it is an indoor facility, the weather has less impact, and it is easy to include in a travel schedule because movement and waiting are less burdensome.

If you want to avoid crowds, a weekday visit is best. In particular, it is relatively quiet from the morning right after opening through early afternoon, while weekends are generally busy and nearby traffic can also be heavy.

If you must go on a weekend, visiting in the evening is more practical. Since this place drew very large numbers of visitors even right after opening, weekend daytime hours are expected to be the busiest.

How to Get There

Starfield Suwon is relatively easy to access by public transportation, and for international travelers, heading via Hwaseo Station is the easiest option.

Subway: The nearest station is Line 1 Hwaseo Station. After arriving at the station, exit through Exit 5 or Exit 6 and you can move fairly easily through the underground connecting passage. Some routes require following signs inside the station, so check the Starfield guidance signs near the ticket gates.

Bus: The nearest bus stop is the Hwaseo Station stop. Take a local bus, village bus, or express bus and get off at Hwaseo Station, then follow the signs toward Starfield. It is convenient to search for the destination as Starfield Suwon or Starfield Suwon in a bus app or map app.

On foot: It is walkable from Hwaseo Station. After leaving the station, head toward the Exit 5 and 6 direction, where the route to the shopping mall is relatively easy to find. If this is your first visit, it is safest to follow the signs inside the station and around the exits.
