Inje Speedium in Gangwon Province, from a 3.908 km Mountain Circuit to Accommodation
Inje Speedium is a multi-purpose automotive cultural complex that opened in May 2013, operating an internationally certified circuit, experience programs, a classic car museum, a hotel, and condominiums on one site. Even without driving yourself, you can access it through circuit taxi rides, safaris, and museum visits, and if using public transportation, you must travel about 3 km farther from the Hadapgyo stop.

Why Inje Auto Theme Park Opened as Inje Speedium on May 25, 2013
Inje Speedium began as an automotive tourism facility that had been promoted under the name Inje Auto Theme Park, officially opening as “Inje Speedium” on May 25, 2013. The name combines “Speed,” meaning speed, and “Stadium,” meaning a venue where people gather, reflecting a direction that aimed to bundle motorsport viewing, hands-on experiences, and accommodation together rather than only operating a race track.
The official introduction describes this place as a complex automotive cultural space on a 1,399,000㎡ site in the Sanghadap-ro area of Girin-myeon, Inje-gun, Gangwon State. However, the planned area in the 2026 Inje-gun tourist-site development plan notification is listed as 1,067,964.6㎡, showing that the total site figure used in the facility introduction and the tourist-site scope in the administrative plan are counted differently.
The reason a circuit was built in mountainous Inje is that, unlike a flat race venue, the elevation changes and corner layout can create racing and driving experiences. At the time of its opening in 2013, it was developed with a 20,000-seat grandstand, a pit building, and a motorsport experience center, designing it not as a place where races are held only once in a while, but as a place to stay and enjoy automotive tourism.
- Official opening: May 25, 2013
- Original name: Inje Auto Theme Park
- Current address: 130 Sanghadap-ro, Girin-myeon, Inje-gun, Gangwon State
Four Experiences Selected from FIA Grade 2 and a Full Course of 3.908 km
The full course at Inje Speedium is 3.908 km long and is known as an FIA Grade 2 certified circuit. In the Hyundai N Festival information, the shortened short course is listed as 2.577 km. Hands-on driving experiences on the circuit are checked in at the circuit PIT building in front of the hotel and condo area, and the official hotel guide lists operating hours as 10:00~17:00, with closures every Monday and alternate Tuesdays.
If driving yourself feels burdensome, you can choose a circuit taxi, where a professional driver drives the race car. The circuit taxi costs 80,000 won for up to 2 people, the circuit safari, which follows a lead vehicle, starts at 40,000 won, the kart center starts at 30,000 won, and off-road parkour, which passes through 11 mountain obstacles, starts at 40,000 won.
- Circuit taxi: 80,000 won, up to 2 people
- Circuit safari: from 40,000 won
- Kart center: from 30,000 won
- Off-road parkour: from 40,000 won, 11 mountain obstacles

Viewing Hours 10:00~18:00 at the Classic Car Museum Behind the Grandstand
If you are more interested in the shape of cars and design by era than in engine noise and speed, you can plan your route to the Classic Car Museum behind the grandstand. The museum is open from 10:00~18:00, admission ends at 17:00, and it is closed every Monday. Group visits are handled by prior arrangement.
Admission is 6,000 won for adults, defined as middle school students and older, 4,000 won for children from 36 months up to elementary school age, and free for children under 36 months. Special discounts apply upon presentation of proof for guests, military personnel, national merit recipients, seniors, license holders, persons with disabilities, multicultural families, and one caregiver in a multi-child household, but discounts cannot be combined.
Smoking is prohibited inside the museum, and pets are not allowed. Because this is an exhibition space designed for viewing cars up close, visitors may be liable for damages if exhibits or facilities are harmed, and keeping quiet and maintaining order during the visit are part of the usage rules.

Conditions for 05:00~07:00 Circuit Runs and 19:00~21:00 Night Walks
For visitors who want to walk inside the racing venue, there is a separate “circuit run” time. Except on event days, the full course can be used on foot from the 36th pit entrance of the Confit Building from 05:00~07:00 in the morning and 19:00~21:00 in the evening, with no separate admission fee. Walking one lap of the 3.908 km course is practically estimated at about 50~70 minutes including photos and rest.
Circuit runs are not operated when the circuit is privately booked, during racing events, or during severe weather. On days when races are held, visitor routes, vehicle access, and walkable areas change, so it is most reliable to schedule this activity in the morning or evening of your lodging itinerary.
The official track-day information released through the official channel in late 2025 set out four sessions per day, groups of 15 vehicles, helmet and glove requirements, and advance online theory training. For those participating in track day with their own vehicle, license, safety equipment, and vehicle standards apply, unlike ordinary tourism experiences.
- Morning circuit run: 05:00~07:00
- Night circuit run: 19:00~21:00
- Starting point: 36th pit entrance of the Confit Building

The Standard that separates the 25.80㎡ hotel rooms from the 79.33㎡ condos after 15:00 check-in
Accommodation is divided into hotel and condo units. The hotel superior double is about 25.80㎡, has one king bed, is configured for two people, and does not allow cooking; check-in is at 15:00 and check-out is at 11:00. Free Wi-Fi, a 42-inch TV, two bottles of water, a refrigerator, and a safe are provided, but disposable amenities such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, and razors are not provided in the room by default.
The resort family double is about 79.33㎡ and includes a living-room/bedroom space, an ondol room, and a shower booth, with a standard occupancy of 4 and a maximum of 5. Since it includes an induction stove, electric rice cooker, dishes, pots, and frying pans, cooking is possible, so the condo is better than the hotel when several people need to prepare meals. No extra person can be added to hotel rooms, and condo family rooms can accommodate one additional person at most.
In lodging reviews from June to July 2026, there were repeated mentions of moving by car about 1 minute from the hotel building to the condo building after check-in, as well as use of the convenience store, chicken, Chinese restaurant, and handmade burger shop in the condo basement level. To minimize movement on site, it is convenient to plan dinner and snacks around the condo building’s internal stores or the hotel first-floor Cafe Birch lunch hours of 11:30~14:30 and dinner hours of 17:30~20:30.

The Actual Schedule for Monday Closures and the 07:00 Sauna, 07:30 Breakfast
There is no single opening time or single admission ticket for all of Inje Speedium. Circuit experiences operate from 10:00~17:00, the Classic Car Museum from 10:00~18:00, and the hotel fourth-floor fitness center from 07:00~22:00.
The mineral water sauna on the first floor of the hotel building is open from 07:00~21:00 on Fridays and Saturdays, and from 07:00~18:00 on Sundays and from Tuesday to Thursday; it is closed on Mondays. Last admission is at 20:00 and 17:00 respectively, and the adult fee is 10,000 won including VAT. During holidays and peak season, a schedule operating from 07:00~21:00 on Mondays is also announced.

How to Handle the Final 3 km After Inje IC and the Hadaepyo Bus Stop
If you are driving, exit from the Seoul Yangyang Expressway at Inje IC toward the Inje and Seoraksan National Park Jomjeongsan area, then follow Naerincheon-ro, Girin-ro, and Sanghadap-ro. For navigation, you can enter “Inje Speedium” or, if you are participating in an event, “Inje Speedium Paddock Parking Lot.” The official address is 130 Sanghadap-ro, Girin-myeon, Inje-gun, Gangwon State, and the main phone number is 1644-3366.
For public transportation, it is known to take a rural bus from the Inje Intercity Bus Terminal stop toward Inje and Hyeon-ri, then get off at the Hadaepyo bus stop. Since it is about 3 km from Hadaepyo to the complex, taking a taxi for the last stretch is more practical if you have a lot of luggage or are traveling with children or seniors. Inje Speedium is not a place connected by foot to an urban rail station; it is a mountain-type facility designed around vehicle access.
Parking for guests is free, and there is no underground or indoor parking lot. In older Unique Venue materials, it was introduced as capable of accommodating 3,468 passenger cars and buses, and the 2026 Inje-gun plan includes a parking area of 134,322.8㎡ and electric vehicle charging stations. The official hotel site provides Korean, English, and Chinese pages so that room and facility information can be read.
