The course was designed by Golf Course Design Group VIEW, the clubhouse was designed by Gansam Partners, and Samsung Everland and Kyeryong Construction participated in the construction. Since Gunwi-gun was incorporated into Daegu Metropolitan City on July 1, 2023, it is more accurate to enter the current road name address '2450 Dogun-ro, Gunwi-eup, Gunwi-gun, Daegu Metropolitan City' into your navigation.
Start by Aiming Left on West Hole 1 and Reading the Right Bunker on East Hole 1
The official course strategy guides you to aim the tee shot slightly to the left on West Course Hole 1 and to accurately target the second shot with a middle iron. From the first hole, it is better to prioritize direction and distance sense for the second shot over flight distance.
The East Course Hole 1 has a wide 1-piece point, so the burden of the tee shot is relatively low, but the fairway bunker on the right can be a visual burden. The official guide explains that this bunker also serves as a directional indicator, helping to prevent slices.
- West Course: Aim slightly left on the Hole 1 tee shot
- West Course: Focus on middle iron accuracy for the second shot
- East Course: Utilize the wide 1-piece point
- East Course: Check the direction of the right fairway bunker

2450 Dogun-ro, Gunwi-eup; Why Traveling by Private Car is More Realistic Than Public Transport
The main number for Guni CC is 054-380-0000, and inquiries for the reservation office and group teams are at 054-380-0007. For same-day cancellation due to bad weather, check with the front desk at 054-380-0033~0034 or the reservation office. The official website is https://www.gunicc.co.kr/.
The official guide states that all vehicles are operated by self-parking. If you want to load your golf bag into your vehicle immediately after play, you must have your car key with you. If you inform them of your vehicle's location, the assigned caddie will help load the golf bag. Since bus routes and station exit information are not confirmed in the official guide, it is more realistic to assume travel by private car or a companion's vehicle if visiting with a golf bag.
Criteria for Same-day Phone Confirmation: 70% Rain Forecast, 5mm/hr, 3 Hours
Guni CC processes bad weather cancellations only via phone on the day of play. If the forecast predicts a precipitation probability of 70% or more and rain of 5mm or more per hour for 3 hours or more during the reservation time, it meets the criteria for phone cancellation.
The decision for a refund during the round is based on a forecast of cumulative precipitation of 20mm or more during 5 hours of play. If the first hole cannot be completed due to force majeure such as snow or heavy rain, a full refund is given. After the second hole, the settlement reflects the number of holes used, plus a facility usage fee of 15,000 KRW.
- Weather cancellation: Only possible via phone on the day
- Forecast criteria for phone cancellation: 70% precipitation probability or higher
- Rainfall criteria: 5mm/hr or more for 3 hours or more
