How to Get There

Haeseong Art Bay is located at 101 Bunpo-ro, Nam-gu, Busan, in a space remodeled from the Yongho Bay Cruise Terminal building.

Subway
There is no direct connection from the nearest subway station, so transferring to a bus or taxi after taking the subway is the most convenient option. For foreign travelers, it is practical to get off at Kyungsung Univ.-Pukyong Nat'l Univ. Station or Namcheon Station on Busan Subway Line 2 and transfer to a bus. From the station exit, check the bus stop information board for buses bound for Yongho Bay Cruise Terminal.

Bus
The most convenient way is to get off at the Yongho Bay Cruise Terminal stop. After getting off, walk toward the W Apartment shopping area rather than toward the police station, and you will see the entrance. The Busan City Tour Red Line also stops at Yongho Bay Cruise Terminal.

On foot
After getting off at the stop, it takes only a few minutes to walk toward the W Apartment shopping area. You can reach the main entrance without any steps. After heading toward the building's main entrance, move about 50 m to the right to find the entrance.

Photo Spots

• Haeseong Art Bay exterior entrance: Step back a little in front of the main gate so the entire building is in the frame. If the camera faces the front of the building, it is easy to take a clean commemorative photo. Late morning to early afternoon is the most reliable time.
• Sea backdrop around Yongho Bay Cruise Terminal: Move outside the Haeseong Art Bay building toward the terminal and take photos with your back to the sea and the building included, or facing the sea. This creates a great travel atmosphere. Around sunset is best.
• Indoor gallery common areas: Since photographing the exhibits themselves may be restricted, it is better to take person photos with the artworks only as a background. Have the subject face the corridor side, and point the camera toward a wall where the background is tidy. Early afternoon is relatively quiet.
• Window-side or open indoor spaces: If you stand where natural light comes in and face the window at a 45-degree angle, your face will look brightest and most natural. To avoid strong backlighting, shoot in the morning to early afternoon.
