On July 7, IU released a short video on social media showing an update on her recent activities.

That day, IU attended the handprinting event for the 5th Blue Dragon Series Awards, held at CGV Yongsan I'Park Mall in Yongsan-gu, Seoul.

She attended as the previous year's winner, having won the Blue Dragon Series Awards Best Actress award for the Netflix series 'When Life Gives You Tangerines' last year.

In the video, IU said, "I'm on my way to do handprinting for the Blue Dragon Series Awards. I'll stamp my palm well and come back. Please keep watching."

After checking the handprinted result, she expressed regret, saying, "I did feel like I had done something wrong, but I couldn't take it out."

Meanwhile, IU donated 100 million won in the name of 'IUANA' on May 5 for Children's Day, and 300 million won on May 16 in celebration of her birthday.
