IU released a short video showing her recent update through official social media on July 7.

That day, IU attended the handprinting event for the 5th Blue Dragon Series Awards held at CGV Yongsan I'Park Mall in Yongsan-gu, Seoul.

He attended as the previous year's winner, having won the Blue Dragon Series Awards Best Actress award for the Netflix series 'When Life Gives You Tangerines' last year.

In the video, IU said, "I'm on my way to do the Blue Dragon Series Awards handprinting now. I'll make sure to stamp my palm well and come back. Please watch over me."

After checking the handprinting result, she expressed regret, saying, "I did feel like I had done something wrong, but I couldn't take it off."

Meanwhile, IU donated 100 million won in the name of 'IUAENA' on May 5 for Children's Day, and 300 million won on June 16, her birthday.
