BTS’s V and Jungkook warn fans at the hotel gym at dawn: “Isn’t this our private life?”

[SBS Entertainment News | Reporter Kang Kyung-yoon] BTS members V and Jungkook, who are currently carrying out the North American leg of their world tour 'ARIRANG,' issued a light warning to fans who approached them at a hotel gym.

After finishing their Baltimore performance in the United States on the 11th (local time), V and Jungkook communicated with fans through a Weverse Live broadcast and shared an incident in which they encountered fans at the hotel gym.

They mentioned that they had gone to the gym at the hotel where they were staying at around 2 a.m. and encountered approximately 20 fans. Jungkook said, "I've never seen people working out at that hour during a tour," speculating that they had come to see them.

V said, "If we're helping with your dieting or bulking, that's actually a good thing," but drew a line by saying that fans could come to the gym regardless of how many people there were if their purpose was to exercise, but they should not disturb one another.

Jungkook urged them, "Don't just stare at us. Whether you're lifting dumbbells or using the exercise equipment, please focus on your own form and workout," and protested, "Isn't this our privacy?" V also said, "A fan wearing green clothes appears in a video we filmed the previous day," and jokingly issued a light warning that they might release the video.

It was reported that the fan wearing green clothes actually approached V and spoke to him after Jungkook had left the gym.

During the live broadcast that day, V confessed that he was receiving hospital treatment together with Jungkook. V revealed his hearing problem for the first time, saying, "I've never told ARMY this before, but my ears haven't been in good condition for two and a half years." He said that while his left-ear hearing would be at 100, his right ear could hear only around 30, and that he was undergoing treatment while taking medication regularly.

Jungkook also opened up about the difficulties he faces on stage. He revealed that his shin was on the verge of developing a stress fracture, and said that although he wanted to run with all his strength on that day's stage, he was unable to do so at times because of the pain. He explained that there was considerable inflammation along with microscopic bone damage, but expressed his determination to manage his condition as much as possible and successfully complete the remainder of the tour.

BTS will continue their performances at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, United States, on the 15th and 16th, followed by Rogers Stadium in Toronto, Canada, on the 22nd and 23rd.
