English commentary is available, but accessibility information for 2026 is lacking

Although the times for English and Japanese historical commentary are set, there is no confirmed information about an English information booth or multilingual information services for the event as a whole. Accessibility information for wheelchairs and strollers has also not been published, so travelers using mobility aids should inquire about the route before registering for the historical commentary tour connecting the various sites along Jeongdong-gil.

For visitors who prefer to watch quietly at one location, choosing a single performance is more suitable than the schedule spread across the Pai Chai Institute History Museum, Jungmyeongjeon Hall, the cathedral, and the embassies. Information about food sales, convenience-facility locations, and cleanliness and safety operations has not been published. Operation or cancellation criteria in rainy weather and whether temporary shuttle buses will run have also not been confirmed. Before departure, check the official website for rainy-weather operations, fees for each activity, remaining spaces for advance registration, and wheelchair and stroller accessibility.

  • Can I see the inside of Seoul Anglican Cathedral on Friday? — On Friday, organ performances are held at 19:30 and 20:30, along with interior commentary in the cathedral at 20:00. The cathedral is also open on Saturday.
  • Can I see the British Embassy tour and the brass band at 2 p.m. on Saturday? — The British Embassy tours are at 14:00, 14:30, and 15:00.
  • Can I hear the Jeongdong historical commentary in English? — English commentary is scheduled for Friday at 19:00 and Saturday at 16:00. The tour lasts 60 minutes, with 10–15 participants per session.
  • Can I drive to the event site? — There is no separate parking lot, and traffic control is scheduled from in front of Daehanmun Gate to Jeongdong Fountain and the area in front of Yewon School on the event day, so public transportation is recommended.
