Jeungpyeong Edu-Farm Tourist Complex: Connecting Wonnam Reservoir and Moto Arena in One Day

Jeungpyeong Edu-Farm Tourist Complex is the first tourist complex in Chungcheongbuk-do, established along the shores of Wonnam Reservoir and at the foot of Dutasan Mountain. It integrates Belle Foret Resort’s accommodations, motorsports, and amusement facilities into a single district. Since operating days and requirements vary by facility, it is most efficient to build your schedule around the Moto Arena and check the daily operation board.

Jeungpyeong Edu-Farm Tourist Complex: Connecting Wonnam Reservoir and Moto Arena in One Day

A Stay-Oriented Complex Created by Designation in 2017 and Partial Opening in 2019: Wonnam Reservoir

Jeungpyeong Edu Farm Special Zone Tourism Complex is a tourism complex established across Yeonchon-ri, Doan-myeon, Jeungpyeong-gun, Chungcheongbuk-do, with a designated area of 2,622,825㎡. The Ministry of SMEs and Startups approved the special-zone designation and tourism-complex development plan in December 2017, and Jeungpyeong-gun held the tourism-complex opening ceremony in 2019. Its starting point was that it was the first tourism complex designated in Chungcheongbuk-do.

The complex currently operates under the name Belle Foret Resort, with a golf course, accommodations, Moto Arena, ranch, amusement facilities, and waterside walking routes arranged around Wonnam Reservoir and the foothills of Dutasan Mountain. Therefore, it is better understood not as a place for briefly using just one facility, but as a large, multifaceted tourism destination where visitors move among several zones by car or resort shuttle.

Arrival, Inquiries, and Accommodation Procedures Starting at the Welcome Center at 346 Belle Foret-gil

The resort’s official business address is 346 Belle Foret-gil, Doan-myeon, Jeungpyeong-gun, Chungcheongbuk-do, while the provided address of 374 Belle Foret-gil can be used to access individual locations within the complex. The main inquiry numbers are 1566-0162, 043-926-1000, and 080-510-0162, and the information desk is announced to operate from 09:00 to 19:00. The official website is https://bsbf.belleforetresort.com.

Guests staying overnight complete check-in at 15:00 and check-out at 11:00 at the guest-room front desk in the Welcome Center. The room front desk operates from 06:30 to 20:30, so if you may arrive outside these hours, it is safest to confirm in advance by calling 1566-0162. Official guidance recommends taking a taxi from Jeungpyeong Terminal to the Welcome Center, so an itinerary that relies solely on public transportation to visit multiple facilities within the complex may be inconvenient.

Moto Arena’s 1.5 km Track: Leisure Kart Hours from 09:00 to 18:00, Tuesday to Sunday

Moto Arena leisure karts operate from 09:00 to 18:00 Tuesday through Sunday and on public holidays, and are closed regularly on Mondays. However, if Monday is a public holiday, they operate normally, with the final ride at 17:40. Operations may be suspended or changed depending on events, private rentals, or weather, so check the operating schedule again on the day of your visit. The Moto Arena ticket booth phone number is 043-926-1165.

The track is described as 1.5 km long, with 17 corners and a 247 m straight section. Each run lasts about 10 minutes. For single-seater karts, riders must be at least 15 years old and 150 cm tall; for two-seater drivers, at least 19 years old and 150 cm tall; and passengers must be at least 5 years old and 100 cm tall. Safety training before riding is required once per day, and full-face helmets and gloves are provided free of charge.

Leisure Karts Starting at KRW 43,000, with Restrictions on Shorts and Slippers

The regular leisure-kart prices are KRW 43,000 for one single-seater run, KRW 68,000 for two runs, and KRW 100,000 for three runs. For two-seater karts, the corresponding prices are KRW 52,000, KRW 82,000, and KRW 124,000. Jeungpyeong residents and accommodation guests are informed that they can receive a 10% discount from the regular price subject to on-site conditions, but discounts cannot be combined. Online ticket holders may have difficulty riding depending on on-site ticket availability, so during popular time slots it is better to allow ample time for arrival even after booking through an official channel.

Long-sleeved tops, long pants, and athletic shoes are required. Shorts, slippers, and high heels are not permitted, although paid suit and shoe rentals are available. Pregnant people or those who may be pregnant, people aged 70 or older, and people with spinal or heart conditions may not ride. Taking photos or videos with mobile phones, cameras, or selfie sticks while driving is also prohibited. If the goal is the kart experience rather than fast movement, meeting these clothing requirements before departure is essential.

Main-Gate Parking and Shuttles Every 30 Minutes: Avoid Entering Moto Arena with Low-Clearance Cars

According to the resort’s official guidance, accommodation guests and online ticket purchasers may be guided to drive to Moto Arena on the day of use by presenting their reservation text message. However, vehicles weighing 1 ton or more, large trucks, and motorcycles may not enter. Because parts of the Moto Arena parking lot have an aggregate surface, sports cars with low ground clearance are advised to park at the main gate and take the shuttle.

Chungbuk Nadr uses guidance stating that shuttle buses operate every 30 minutes to help visitors move between facilities after parking in the complex. Because the site is extensive, visitors using strollers or mobility aids may need additional travel time even when visiting only one facility. Specific information about wheelchair-accessible routes and foreign-language on-site assistance could not be confirmed on the official pages, so if necessary, it is more accurate to ask the main contact number about accessibility for each facility before visiting.

Belle Foret Amusement Park: 10:00–18:00 from March to November, Closed on Mondays

For itineraries with children, calculate the amusement park’s seasonal hours separately. The amusement park opens Tuesday through Sunday and on public holidays, closes every Monday, and is announced to operate from 10:00 to 18:00 from March through November and from 10:00 to 17:00 from December through February. Admission and ride ticket sales close 30 minutes before operating hours end, and there is a break from 11:30 to 12:30.

In July, it operates separately from 10:00 to 18:00 on weekdays and Sundays, and from 10:00 to 21:00 on Fridays and Saturdays. Tickets are issued one per person. When a guardian rides with a child, the guardian also needs a ticket, and children under 36 months must purchase tickets as well. Tickets may be used only by the purchaser on the day of purchase and are nonrefundable after entry, so on a day combining Moto Arena and the amusement park, it is best to choose either the morning or afternoon first while avoiding the amusement park’s break period.

Pet Foret’s 1,090-Pyeong Playground and Advance-Reservation Rules from 10:00 to 18:00

For trips with dogs, distinguish between Pet Foret’s rules for standard rooms and shared facilities and the rules for separately rentable spaces. Pet Foret operates from 10:00 to 18:00 and provides guests staying in pet rooms with free access to a private exercise yard. However, separate rental spaces require advance reservations regardless of whether you are staying in a pet room, and use may be restricted without a reservation.

Rental fees are KRW 100,000 from 10:00 to 14:00 and KRW 100,000 from 14:00 to 18:00, with only one group allowed per time slot. Facility information describes a large-dog-only playground measuring 1,090 pyeong, and requires animal registration, leash use, and waste disposal. Aggressive dogs and dogs with illnesses may not enter. The inquiry number is 043-926-1098.

Approaching from Jeungpyeong Station and Jeungpyeong IC and Combining the Visit with Jwagusan Observatory

For those driving, the official route is Information via Jeungpyeong IC. Train passengers will find it most practical to connect to a taxi or rental car after arriving at Jeungpyeong Station. Official accommodation guidance recommends taking a taxi from Jeungpyeong Terminal to the Welcome Center. For a day trip, choose one main facility, such as the karts or amusement park, and allow 3–5 hours. If including accommodation, a waterside walk, and meals, plan for one night and two days to reduce the burden of getting around.

Jeungpyeong-gun operated a program linking Belle Foret with Jwagusan Observatory in June 2025. At that time, overnight guests at Belle Foret participated in astronomical observations from 20:30 to 22:00 at Waterfall Parking Lot. This program is not confirmed as a permanent offering, so rather than expecting the same experience, check the observatory reservation details and Belle Foret announcements separately for your travel date. The nearby Bicycle Park is officially described as approximately 14 km from Belle Foret, or about 25 minutes by car.
