Indoor Rink Located Inside Anyang Sports Complex, 389 Pyeongchon-daero

The Anyang Urban Development Corporation Ice Rink is located within the Anyang Sports Complex site at 389 Pyeongchon-daero, Dongan-gu, Anyang-si, Gyeonggi-do. Several sports facilities, such as the main stadium, gymnasium, and swimming pool, are clustered on the same site, so it is easier to find by setting your navigation destination to 'Anyang Sports Complex' or the road name address.

While the official rental guide lists the ice rink's authorized usage hours as 06:00–24:00, the hours for general public use are operated separately according to rental, professional game, and ice resurfacing schedules. Therefore, it is safest to check for general public opening status on the day of your visit via the Anyang Urban Development Corporation announcements or by calling the ice rink at 031-389-5278.

Public Use 10:00–18:45 and Ice Resurfacing at 11:45 & 13:45

Based on the public use guide, weekday operating hours are from Monday to Friday, 10:00–18:45. The rink undergoes ice resurfacing for approximately 15 minutes every 2 hours, with scheduled times at 11:45, 13:45, 15:45, and 17:45. To maximize your actual skating time, it is better to plan your entry so it does not overlap with the time immediately preceding resurfacing.

On weekends, tickets are sold separately for Part 1 and Part 2, meaning a single ticket does not allow for an all-day stay. The first and third Sundays of every month and legal public holidays are listed as closing days, but announcements regarding extended operations, shortened hours, or closures may be made for events like Christmas or home games. For example, there was a case on December 21, 2024, when hours were shortened to 10:00–14:00, and on December 22, it was closed to the public due to an HL Anyang home game.

  • Weekday Public Use Guide: 10:00–18:45
  • Ice Resurfacing Guide: 11:45, 13:45, 15:45, 17:45, approx. 15 minutes per session
  • Regular Closure Guide: 1st and 3rd Sundays of every month and legal public holidays

Why You Cannot Enter the Rink Without a Helmet and Gloves

When entering the ice rink area, you must wear a helmet and gloves. Helmets are available for free rental, but gloves are subject to a personal carry-on rule. If you arrive in thin clothing that leaves your hands exposed, you may be blocked from using the rink. For beginners or those visiting with children, bringing gloves before you leave is the most certain way to prepare.

Rental skates are available in 10mm increments from 190mm to 300mm. The helmet and glove regulations apply even if you wear your own personal skates, and no food other than beverages is allowed. Spectators are directed to use the seating on the second basement level (B2), so companions who are not skating should move to the spectator area rather than staying at the edge of the rink.

  • Rental Skate Sizes: 190–300mm, in 10mm increments
  • Helmets: Free rental
  • Lockers: Next to the rental room, 200 KRW per use
  • Food: Entry prohibited except for beverages

Check 031-389-5278 for Same-Day Opening Before Your Ticket

Admission fees for general use may vary depending on operational announcements and on-site ticketing conditions, so it is best not to assume a fixed rate. Especially on weekends, ticketing is done by Part 1 and Part 2 sessions, and public hours may be reduced or cancelled on days with HL Anyang ice hockey home games or rental schedules.

For inquiries regarding general public use, call 031-389-5278, and for inquiries regarding facility rentals, contact the Sports Complex Business Department at 031-389-5264. The official website is the Anyang Urban Development Corporation site, where you can check daily variations on the ice rink announcement and rental reservation pages. For groups wishing to rent the entire rink, a team registration is required followed by an internet first-come, first-served application process; one application per team is possible from 21:00 on the 1st to 10:00 on the 8th of each month, with one additional application possible after 10:00 on the 8th.

Buses 8, 11-2, and 5625 Stopping at 'Anyang Sports Complex'

The simplest way to arrive via public transport is to get off at the 'Anyang Sports Complex' (Jonghap Undongjang Ap) stop. Routes from Seoul provided by Anyang Urban Development Corporation include 11-2, 11-3, 9-3, 5625, 5626, and 5713. From the Pyeongchon area, buses 51 and 60 pass this stop, and from the Indeogwon and Gwanyang-dong areas, buses 8, 8-1, 11-2, and 11-3 pass through.

Since it is not a station directly reachable by subway alone, a realistic plan is to transfer to a bus at Beomgye Station (Line 4) or similar. After getting off the bus, you should check the signs for the location of the ice rink within the complex. If any companions use strollers or wheelchairs, it is recommended to inquire about the entry route and elevator availability at 031-389-5278 before departing.

Anyang Sports Complex Parking Lot, Paid Since March 2021

For those arriving by car, the Anyang Sports Complex annexed parking lot is available. This parking lot has been fully operational as a paid facility since March 1, 2021, and utilizes both on-site unmanned payment machines and Kakao T Parking pre-payment. Instead of trying to pay only right before exiting, deciding in advance whether to use mobile pre-payment can shorten your route.

Even on days when you only use the ice rink, the parking lot entrance and exit can be congested if large events like soccer, basketball, or ice hockey overlap. Since parking fees and the applicability of discounts or free parking for ice rink visitors are subject to change, same-day confirmation is necessary. As official guidance recommends public transport, using the bus may be more predictable during weekend afternoons or when home games are scheduled.

A Structure Where HL Anyang Home Games and Public Use Share the Same Ice

This ice rink is operated within a multi-purpose sports facility called Anyang Sports Complex, and public use, lessons, rentals, and ice hockey game schedules are all reflected in the timetable of a single rink. Therefore, rather than assuming you can go at the same time every day like a regular skating rink, it is a place where you should first check, "Is it open for public use today?"

Looking at the rental fee guide for sports events, the rates per hour are 70,000 KRW from 06:00 to 10:00, 100,000 KRW on weekdays and 150,000 KRW on Saturdays and holidays from 10:00 to 20:00, and 70,000 KRW from 20:00 to 24:00. It is stated that usage permission for the 10:00–20:00 slot is determined by the rink's circumstances, which explains how game and event schedules impact public hours.

  • Rental Time Segments: 06:00–10:00, 10:00–20:00, 20:00–24:00
  • Sports Event Rental Fee: 70,000 to 150,000 KRW per hour
  • 10:00–20:00 Rental: Permission decided based on rink circumstances
