TWICE’s Jeongyeon, Is She Really This Thin? After Becoming an Actress… Her First Update Since Parting Ways with JYP

On the 19th, Jeongyeon shared glimpses of her daily life by posting a rose emoji and several photos on her personal channel.

In the photos, Jeongyeon paired an oversized black linen shirt with a white inner top and black short pants. While using basic items overall, she maximized a chic and sophisticated sensibility through the fit and detailed accessory coordination.

Jeongyeon naturally let her long, straight hair fall loose and emphasized her natural features and clear charm with understated makeup. She created a relaxed atmosphere through poses such as gazing into the distance while sitting on a log, shyly smiling while leaning against a wall, and striking a seemingly casual yet hip angle while crouching on the floor.

This was the first update about Jeongyeon since she completed her exclusive contract with JYP Entertainment. On the 10th, Jeongyeon left JYP Entertainment, with which she had been together for many years since her teens.

Jeongyeon said, “I was also afraid to leave a familiar place, but I was able to find the courage because of the members and ONCE who believed in me. To our members and ONCE, whom I am so grateful to that words cannot fully express it, and to the JYP family who helped me grow, thank you,” announcing that she would continue her activities as TWICE’s Jeongyeon and as an ‘actress,’ Yoo Jeongyeon.

Jeongyeon’s new agency is Baro Entertainment, where her older sister Gong Seung-yeon is represented. Jeongyeon debuted in 2015 as a member of the group TWICE. She was diagnosed with Cushing’s syndrome due to side effects from steroid medication taken during treatment for a cervical disc herniation, but later successfully lost weight and regained the beauty of her prime years.
