SEVENTEEN concludes fan meeting “CARAT LAND” successfully → Unveils a new logo… “TEAM SVT” takes its first step

Group SEVENTEEN (S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, The8, Mingyu, DK, Seungkwan, Vernon, Dino) announced the first step of 'TEAM SEVENTEEN'.

SEVENTEEN held the 2022 SVT 6TH FAN MEETING 'SEVENTEEN in CARAT LAND' at the auxiliary stadium of Jamsil Sports Complex from the 25th to the 27th for a total of three days, building special memories with fans for more than three hours.

The performance on the 27th was held both offline and via online live streaming, joining Carats (the fan club name) around the world. A total of 14 multiview screens and subtitles in three languages, including English, Japanese, and Chinese, were provided, coloring the offline venue and the 'home front row' with SEVENTEEN's charm.

The first step of 'TEAM SEVENTEEN'

This fan meeting was SEVENTEEN's first offline performance in Seoul in about two years and six months, adding extra meaning as they met fans in person after a long time. SEVENTEEN opened the fan meeting with 'Shining Diamond' and enthusiastically shouted the special chant unique to 'Carat Land' along with warm greetings. In response, fans answered not with cheers but with sogoe, the special cheering tool of 'Carat Land'.

SEVENTEEN ran a variety of segments fans had been eager to see, including talks and games. In 'SEVENTEEN Scholarship Quiz' and 'What Is This Song? What Do We Do? Very NICE', they added fun with their witty banter and showed a strong bond with fans.

In the unit reverse stage, a signature of 'Carat Land', the mix units previously shown on the special album '; [Semicolon]' swapped and sang each other's songs. Seungkwan, Vernon, and Dino performed 'AH! LOVE'; The8, Mingyu, and DK performed 'Light a Fire in Your Heart'; Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, and Woozi performed 'HEY BUDDY'; and S.Coups, Jeonghan, and Joshua performed 'Doremi', showing off their broad musical capabilities. They then heated up the venue with the title track 'Rock with you' from their 9th mini album 'Attacca', which made SEVENTEEN a five-time consecutive million seller.

SEVENTEEN thanked their fans, saying, "Thank you for making three days so happy. I hope we can see each other and breathe together more often from now on. Thank you for giving us the courage to keep moving forward and the hope to dream bigger dreams. I hope we can keep making good moments and memories and cheer each other on together." They also drew a hot response by teasing news of this year's world tour.

In addition, SEVENTEEN prepared an encore stage with the song that received the most votes through fans' pre-voting. In each session, they showed their special affection for fans with 'Let's Go Together', 'Vortex', and 'Smile Flower', and by riding a moving cart, they came close to fans seated far away, making direct eye contact and repeating 'Very NICE' endlessly, sharing their signature cheerful energy. In this way, SEVENTEEN brought 'Carat Land' to a close by taking a meaningful first step as Carats and 'TEAM SEVENTEEN'.

SEVENTEEN-Carat, logo unveiled

Right after the final day's performance of 'Carat Land', a new logo for SEVENTEEN and Carat was revealed as a surprise through VCR. The newly introduced SEVENTEEN logo consists of three lines symbolizing the three units. The 17 evokes a Penrose triangle in the form of an infinite loop, indicating the attitude of youth that never stops challenging, connecting with one another and making the impossible possible through endless passion.

Along with this, the logo of SEVENTEEN's official fandom, Carat, was also unveiled. It symbolizes Carat, another member of SEVENTEEN, who is completed through being together and makes SEVENTEEN shine even more. The newly created logo proves the high brand value of Carat, moving forward together with SEVENTEEN, the irreplaceable K-pop leader.

SEVENTEEN will return in May with their 4th full-length album. The group's first English song, in digital single form and included in the new full album, will be pre-released next month as they begin their full-scale push into the global music market. Attention is focused on the fantastic teamwork SEVENTEEN, who have announced an all-time comeback, will display as one with Carat as 'TEAM SEVENTEEN'.
