RESCENE’s Zena Meets Her Lookalike Go Youn-jung… “Much Younger and Prettier,” She Says, Even Exchanging Numbers

RESCENE's Zena met actress Go Youn-jung, who is often mentioned as her lookalike.

On August 21, a video titled “Do You Like Go Youn-jung?” was uploaded to the YouTube channel “Hello, This Is Woni, Nice to Meet You.”

Speaking about Zena, Rive shared her fan admiration, saying, “I’m not sure whether she really likes her or is pretending to, but she always sets Go Youn-jung’s photo as her phone wallpaper.”

Zena had actually set a photo of Go Youn-jung as her phone wallpaper and said, “I change it depending on my mood.” Rive jokingly asked, “If you look like Go Youn-jung, shouldn’t you just use a photo of your own face?” Zena retorted, “What does that mean?”

Revealing that Go Youn-jung is her ideal image, Zena mentioned her sparkling eyes and slim face shape, saying, “There’s one point I like the most. Her face is truly so beautiful, but her voice is in the middle-to-low range. That’s the key point.”

Zena showed her devotion as a fan by correctly guessing Go Youn-jung’s age, sibling relationships, favorite color, and major. She also visited Seoul Institute of the Arts, Go Youn-jung’s alma mater, and took a photo in the same pose as Go Youn-jung in an old photograph.

Zena, who went to the same hair salon as Go Youn-jung but had never met her, finally met her in person. When Go Youn-jung mentioned Zena’s name in response to the question, “Do you perhaps know me?”, Zena was deeply moved.

When Rive asked, “Zena has been hearing a lot lately that she resembles actress Go Youn-jung. She seems to think so too. What do you think?”, Go Youn-jung replied, “I think so. She’s much younger and prettier.”

When Zena said, “I went to Seoul Women’s University today. I was so happy walking along the paths that senior Go Youn-jung once walked,” Go Youn-jung laughed and said, “I didn’t really go to school much.” When Zena expressed her disappointment, Go Youn-jung also suggested, “Shall we have a meal together next time?” With Rive’s help, the two later exchanged contact information as well.
