On the 19th, Woni’s account was suddenly processed as withdrawn on Plus Chat, the fan communication platform used by RESCENE. When Woni’s account was displayed as a ‘withdrawn member’ without any particular notice, fans expressed concern, asking the other members through the platform what had happened.

Member Liv explained the situation through Plus Chat, saying, “Woni’s account was connected to Minami’s spare phone, and it seems she pressed withdraw instead of logging out.”

Minami, who withdrew Woni’s account, also personally came forward to explain. Minami said, “I changed my phone model recently and downloaded the Plus Chat app again, but I accidentally signed up using Woni’s account. I tried to log out, but because it was connected to other apps, I was automatically logged in no matter how many times I logged out, so I pressed withdraw.”

She continued, “But I guess Woni’s account was also withdrawn from her phone,” explaining how she unintentionally deleted Woni’s account.

Woni, who returned with a new account afterward, took it in stride, saying, “I guess Minami pressed the Plus Chat withdrawal button because she didn’t know how it worked. She has to do something like this occasionally for us to know she’s Japanese.” However, she added, “It’s kind of an emergency. It can’t be restored, so they contacted Plus Chat on my behalf.”

Plus Chat was also reportedly flustered by the unexpected withdrawal. The members later revealed during a live broadcast that Plus Chat had asked, “The system is designed to make it difficult for an artist to press the withdrawal button. How did you manage to do it?” prompting laughter.

In the end, Woni was unable to restore her original account and created a new one. Rather than deleting the existing posts and reorganizing the account, she chose to leave the posts as they were and add a new account, bringing the total number of RESCENE members’ accounts on Plus Chat to six.
