RESCENE heads to LA after winning three awards with “Pretty Girl”… bringing the domestic reverse-charting craze to KCON

RESCENE headed to Los Angeles, USA, riding a wave of momentum that continued across domestic charts and music shows.

RESCENE departed for Los Angeles, USA, via Incheon International Airport on the morning of the 12th to attend the KCON LA 2026 concert schedule.

RESCENE appeared at the airport and set off in a bright atmosphere. Having just lifted trophies in succession on domestic music shows, this trip to LA is closer to the next chapter of their momentum than a simple overseas engagement.

On MBC's “Show! Music Core,” which aired on the 8th, RESCENE took first place with the remake single “Pretty Girl.” They had previously topped music shows, including SBS Life's “The Show,” recording three wins solely with “Pretty Girl.” It is noteworthy that they added another first-place trophy even after concluding their music-show promotions.

Adding their previous first-place win on SBS's “Inkigayo” with “LOVE ATTACK,” the title track of their first mini-album “SCENEDROME,” RESCENE has a total of four music-show trophies.

Their momentum was not limited to broadcast stages. As “Pretty Girl” continued to rank highly on various music charts, the spread of diverse original content and short-form videos surrounding the group accelerated the influx of new listeners.

In particular, after the release of their original content, searches for RESCENE on Melon increased by 6,550%, while their earlier release “LOVE ATTACK” also drew renewed attention, creating a reverse-charting trend. The second reward of this momentum is that it lifted not only the response to one new song but also the group's past music.

RESCENE, which debuted on March 26, 2024, is a five-member group consisting of Wonii, Minami, Liv, May, and Zena. The group's name combines “Scene” and “Scent,” conveying the meaning of leaving scenes and scents in people's memories through music.

After achieving three wins with “Pretty Girl” in Korea and creating a reverse-charting trend with “LOVE ATTACK,” RESCENE's next destination is the United States. The members left Incheon Airport that day to attend the KCON LA 2026 stage, bringing the momentum built in Korea to LA.
