[Official] Even though G-Dragon supported him… T.O.P won’t be re-examined despite KBS deeming him ineligible

[MyDaily = Reporter Kang Da-yoon] T.O.P, a singer and actor from the group BIGBANG, has decided not to pursue a rehearing despite the KBS music review ruling that his new song was ineligible.

T.O.P's agency stated on the 8th, "Since it is already completed music, there is no intention to request a rehearing," adding, "We respect the broadcaster's ineligibility ruling as it is also a matter of multiple perspectives."

Earlier, T.O.P released his first full-length album, 'Another Dimension' (ANOTHER DIMENSION), on the 3rd. It is a solo album he presented 13 years after reversing his retirement declaration. Although he left the group, BIGBANG members G-Dragon, Taeyang, and Daesung publicly showed their support, drawing attention.

However, according to the music review results released by KBS that day, 7 of the 11 tracks included in 'Another Dimension' were judged ineligible.

Among them, 'Be Solid' (BE SOLID) and 'Another Dimension Holy Dude !!!!!!!!' (Another Dimension Holy Dude !!!!!!!!) were ruled ineligible because the lyrics used swear words, vulgar language, and crude expressions.

The double title track 'I'm Totally Crazy! (Studio54)', as well as 'Ggokalkoon (FOR FANS)' and 'The Feeling of Living in Seoul (SEOUL CHAOS)', were deemed ineligible because the lyrics mention specific product brands and thus violate Article 46 of the Broadcasting Review Regulations (restriction on advertising effects).

In particular, 'Top Addiction (SELF CRUCIFIXION)' drew attention after being ruled ineligible because of lyrics that could facilitate or encourage the use of youth-harmful drugs, narcotics, and other illegal acts.
