[Sports Seoul | Reporter Kim Do-hyeong] Two Chinese women illegally entered the dorm of the group CORTIS, whose members are mostly minors, and were caught by police. Attention is being drawn to the cases of privacy invasion CORTIS has complained about.

According to a TV Chosun report on the 24th, the Seoul Yongsan Police Station has booked and is investigating two Chinese nationals on charges of trespassing.

At dawn on the 23rd, police responded to a report from CORTIS's manager saying, "The delivery box in front of the dorm has been opened and the front door is also open," and arrested the suspects after finding them on another floor of the apartment building where the dorm is located.

However, the women arrested reportedly denied the charges during police questioning, saying, "We bought the dorm address on SNS and went there," and "We did not damage any deliveries or break into the dorm."

Previously, CORTIS drew public attention by revealing the distress caused by some malicious sasaeng fans' extreme privacy invasions and illegal acts.

The news became known after CORTIS's agency, Big Hit Music, posted last month in the fan community that it was "actively responding to acts that infringe on privacy and threaten safety."

At the time, the agency said, "We have detected numerous acts of privacy invasion and fan etiquette violations and have taken measures such as police reports, verbal warnings, and deletion of filmed materials," and even disclosed actual cases.

They included sneaking into the dorm parking lot, approaching while pretending to be event staff, and appearing at private schedules to stalk the members, all actions that could make the members feel unsafe.

In particular, while carrying out their Paris schedule, they attached a small GPS device to a vehicle and stalked them using local vehicles and drivers, shocking many fans.

Meanwhile, CORTIS is a five-member multinational boy group from Big Hit Music, the agency famous for BTS. Except for James, who turned 20 this year, all members were born in 2008-2009 and are still minors.

Even so, they have shown outstanding talent at a young age, and the total cumulative streaming count for their mini album, "COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES," recently surpassed 600 million, becoming a hot topic.

On the 31st, they are set to participate in the U.S. music festival "Lollapalooza Chicago," the only K-pop boy group to do so.
