Previously, Juni had unexpectedly announced her marriage last October. At the time, she said, "I'm getting married next year. Because of my husband's job, we filed the marriage registration first and have been staying in Chungju. Meanwhile, Ladies' Code, the group Juni belongs to, debuted in 2013 with the EP album 'Code#01 Bad Girl' and was loved for songs such as 'Pretty Pretty' and 'Kiss Kiss'.

After suffering an accident in 2014 while traveling from Daegu to Seoul after finishing their schedule, Ladies' Code lost members Eunb and Rise; afterward, the group reorganized with Ashley, Sojung, and Juni and continued activities. In 2020, they chose not to renew their contract with their agency, and their exclusive contract expired.
