[Seoul=Newsis] Reporter Lee Jong-hui = YouTuber Kim Seon-tae donated 100 million won to Chungju Medical Center and called for attention to the reality of local emergency medical care.

On the 22nd, the YouTube channel 'Kim Seon-tae' posted a video titled 'Donation Promotion.' In the video, Kim Seon-tae candidly shared the reason he decided to donate and his honest feelings.

He said, "I am planning to make a donation. Until now, I carried out donations together with companies, but when I thought about money actually coming out of my own account, I honestly felt a little reluctant."

He continued, "To some people it may be a small amount, but to me it is a really large sum. I realized that donating a large amount is not easy."

Kim Seon-tae explained that he decided to donate to Chungju Medical Center, saying, "I know it would look great to donate to Asan Medical Center in Seoul or Samsung Medical Center. But I live in Chungju, and I know full well how terrible Chungju emergency medical care is, so it felt off to put that aside and donate to Seoul."

He went on, "Local emergency medical care is too difficult. In cases such as cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases or severe trauma, survival rates are low. I hope at least emergency medical care will improve a little," adding, "I know donating this money will not change everything. Still, I hope people will pay attention."

Kim Seon-tae said, "Since I made the donation, I will work even harder from now on. I will earn more than I donated. I am grateful to my subscribers for enabling me to donate like this."

Kim Seon-tae runs Chungju City's official YouTube channel 'ChungTV' and gained nationwide recognition under the nickname 'Chungju Man.' He has since left his civil service job and is now active as a YouTuber.
