On the 24th and 25th, ‘Waterbomb Seoul 2026’ was held at the Kintex Outdoor Global Stage.

On the first day, the 24th, Simon Dominic, Taemin, Changmo, KISS OF LIFE, Lee Min-hyuk, Lee Young-ji, KickFlip, Alphadriveone, and ME:IN took the stage, and on the 25th, Jay Park, Karina, Shownu X Hyungwon, Loco, Gray, Bibi, H1-KEY, Zelo, and Billlie appeared.

The team that drew the most attention on the first day was KISS OF LIFE. KISS OF LIFE opened strongly with ‘Who is she,’ then followed it up with hit songs ‘Midas Touch,’ ‘Igloo,’ ‘Lips Hips Kiss,’ ‘k bye,’ ‘Lucky,’ and ‘Tell Me,’ showcasing their signature cool and healthy charm.

In particular, KISS OF LIFE also gave a surprise sneak preview of part of the stage for their upcoming third single, ‘SWEAT,’ and not only the stage itself but also Belle and Natty’s kissing performance drew enthusiastic cheers.

On the 25th, Karina’s stage has become a hot topic. Last year, Karina took part in Waterbomb as a solo artist for the first time and performed stages of ‘Next Level,’ ‘Whiplash,’ ‘Supernova,’ ‘Spicy,’ and ‘Up.’

This year as well, Karina appeared at Waterbomb and, just like last year, energized the stage by passionately singing aespa’s hit songs. With representative aespa tracks that had no skippable songs, Karina lifted the atmosphere, spraying water cannons toward the audience and soaking in the falling water while showing off her beautiful visuals.

On the 26th, Zico, Park Jin-young, Rain, RIIZE, Sunmi, Taeyong, Da-young, H1-KEY, and 82MAJOR are set to take the stage, and anticipation for Waterbomb is rising to new heights.

Amid this, attention turned to Waterbomb, which will be held in Sokcho on August 22. The reason is none other than Seo In-young’s appearance. Seo In-young will join the Orange Team with Rain, Simon Dominic, Lee Young-ji, Nam Yoo-jeong, and Ha-on to face the Blue Team, which includes Da-young, Soyeon of (G)I-DLE, Bibi, Tiger JK, and Yoon Mi-rae.

Seo In-young, taking the stage for the first time in about 10 years, went all in with her appearance fee and underwent full-body liposuction under general anesthesia. Through her YouTube channel, Seo In-young said, “I had arm liposuction. I had surgery under general anesthesia,” revealing her determination toward the stage.

Waterbomb was turned upside down by KISS OF LIFE and Karina. Attention is now focused on whether Seo In-young, who even went as far as liposuction, can surpass them and become the star of the show.
