IU Chops Off Her Long Hair After Breaking Up with Lee Jong-suk… Bobbed Look “From the Breakup”
[OSEN=Reporter Kang Seo-jeong] Singer and actress IU has cut off her long hair.
On the 7th, IU posted on her social media, “IU Digital Single ‘From This Star’ Concept Photo 2026.09.10 6PM (KST).”
She released the concept photo ahead of presenting her digital single ‘From This Star,’ which will be released on the 10th.
In the photo, IU has transformed with a short bob. She had recently maintained long hair, but appeared with a lighter look after cutting it short.
This new song is IU’s first release in a year since the digital single ‘Bye, Summer,’ which she surprise-released on September 10 last year.
A representative said, “IU, who gave fans a special gift by announcing a new song without prior notice at the time, will return this year with new music on the same day.”
Meanwhile, IU previously postponed her Goyang concert and album release schedule due to worsening patulous Eustachian tube syndrome and other reasons. /[email protected]
