Gong Yoo collapsed during filming of "Goblin"..."Took a week off, and everyone made it through" ("Goblin" 10th Anniversary) [General]

[TV Report = Nam Geum-joo, Reporter] Gong Yoo confessed that he caught the flu while filming the drama 'Goblin'.
On the 5th episode of tvN's 'Goblin 10th Anniversary Trip,' Gong Yoo, Kim Go-eun, Lee Dong-wook, and Yoo In-na held a 10th anniversary party with Lee El, Kim Byung-chul, and Park Kyung-hye.
That day, Gong Yoo had prepared a lot for the 10th anniversary party. Gong Yoo, who transformed into a bartender and made highballs, said to Kim Go-eun and Lee Dong-wook, "Let's not fight and get along well," and cheerfully said, "Yes, seniors." The other three burst into laughter at the same time.
Gong Yoo, who began preparing in earnest for the 10th anniversary party, was flustered when the barbecue thermometer would not go up. Lee Dong-wook comforted Gong Yoo, who was anxious beside him, saying, "It will absolutely not fail," and kept taking care of him.

The guests who came to the 'Goblin' 10th anniversary party through the red door were Lee El, Park Kyung-hye, and Kim Byung-chul. Kim Byung-chul handed over the Goblin's sword and said, "It seems I left it behind 10 years ago. When I woke up, it was next to me, so I brought it." Park Kyung-hye appeared wearing the exact same outfit as the female ghost costume in the drama.
Yoo In-na was moved by the reunion after 10 years since the wrap party and said, "Exactly the same as back then," while Lee El said, "Are 10 years really gone?" There were also actors she had barely seen because there were no scenes together on set. Lee Dong-wook confessed, "But seeing everyone like this, I feel a sense of closeness. When working on a project, there is something nice about it."
Kim Go-eun looked at Kim Byung-chul and said, "Your face seems to have become so much better. You look so warm and kind." Yoo In-na also asked a stream of questions, curious about Kim Byung-chul's makeup in the drama. When asked, "Didn't the makeup take 2 hours?" Kim Byung-chul replied, "That's right. But Lee El took 8 hours." Lee El then said, "No, it took a long time during the first test, and for me too, about 2 to 3 hours?" Lee El explained about the grandmother voice, saying, "My voice is low, so I wanted to see how far down I could go."

Yoo In-na was moved, saying, "Because the work turned out well, we can gather even 10 years later," and Lee Dong-wook agreed, saying, "I think it's even more so because the drama received so much love." Lee El said, "I think there is a lot of affection for the work. It was cold, and we did not exactly go through it easily with the makeup and filming scale, so we did endure a lot."
Kim Go-eun expressed her affection, saying, "It really was a tough project, wasn't it? I think 'Goblin' was the last time I filmed something while staying up all night like that. And yet our relationship has lasted this long. I think our chemistry was good."
Recalling Kim Go-eun from that time, Yoo In-na said, "Go-eun suffered tremendously. It's amazing that she didn't look like she was struggling. It's amazing that she was smiling like a 19-year-old girl in every scene." She then spoke about Gong Yoo: "At the end, didn't he get hit hard by the flu and collapse? So I was sad." Gong Yoo said, "Everyone had a hard time. So we held on for one week (off)." Lee Dong-wook recalled, "It felt like the inevitable had come." Gong Yoo added, "(Everyone) held up well."
