BLACKPINK’s Lisa Dominates the VMA Red Carpet in a Sheer Corset Dress and Red Fur [Star Issue]

BLACKPINK's Lisa showcased a striking all-red look on the red carpet at the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs).

Lisa attended the 2026 MTV VMAs red carpet held at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, California, on the 27th (local time). This year's ceremony was hosted by Snoop Dogg, while Lisa, Madonna, RAYE, Shaboozey, and others were listed as performers.

That day, Lisa captured attention with striking red accents from her hair to her outfit. She paired a red fur outerwear piece with abundant volume with a corset-style dress featuring sheer details, creating a bold yet glamorous mood.

In particular, the red dress revealing her silhouette contrasted with the fur outerwear wrapped around her shoulders, showcasing her powerful presence. Together with her high, tied-up hairstyle, she completed a distinctive red-carpet styling. Elle also described it as “a sheer red dress by The Attico, layered with a fur coat by Quine Li, paired with a high ponytail.”

Lisa was nominated in four categories at this year's ceremony: Best Pop, Best K-Pop, Best Cinematography, and Best Editing. BLACKPINK, the group Lisa is part of, also demonstrated its presence with nominations for Best K-Pop and Best Group for “Jump.” In particular, her solo song “Dream,” featuring Kentaro Sakaguchi, was nominated for Best Cinematography.
