BIGBANG encapsulates 20 years of music… Surreal visuals for “BiiiG” unveiled

BIGBANG perfectly pulled off a surreal concept, heightening anticipation for their new song commemorating their 20th anniversary.

On August 13, YG Entertainment unveiled the ‘BiiiG’ VISUAL PHOTO - BiiiG ver.’ Unlike the earlier teasers that stood out with vivid colors such as red, blue, and yellow, this monochromatic, stylish, and chic image has now been revealed.

The members’ appearance, perfectly harmonized with a background reminiscent of a masterpiece painting, immediately captured attention. Against a surreal backdrop featuring a sky that looked as though it had been painted with oil colors, distorted black-and-white structures, and chimneys, the members radiated an unrivaled aura with their sophisticated suit styling.

As teasing content continues to be released, global fans’ curiosity is also growing. Beginning with a title poster showcasing an intense presence, followed by visual photos featuring photogenic gestures and deep charisma, this latest image highlighting an original artwork mood has sequentially unveiled BIGBANG’s diverse facets.

Attention is focused on what kind of narrative and message BIGBANG, which has built a solid musical world over the years, will present through its new song, their first in four years.

Since debuting in 2006, BIGBANG has established itself as one of K-pop’s leading groups by creating numerous mega-hits, including ‘Lies,’ ‘Last Farewell,’ ‘Haru Haru,’ ‘FANTASTIC BABY,’ ‘LOSER,’ ‘BANG BANG BANG,’ and ‘BAE BAE.’ Celebrating their 20th debut anniversary this year, BIGBANG will meet fans with new music.

BIGBANG will release the new digital single ‘BiiiG’ at 6 p.m. on the 19th, their 20th debut anniversary. Like the title of the new song, expectations are even higher because it marks the return of a K-pop legend that has created a massive (BIG) current in the music market over the past 20 years. As YG previously stated that it is “the song that most clearly showcases BIGBANG’s present as they celebrate their 20th debut anniversary,” the group is expected to present music that encapsulates BIGBANG’s identity.

Meanwhile, alongside the release of ‘BiiiG,’ BIGBANG will begin their 20th debut anniversary world tour, ‘BIGBANG 2026-2027 WORLD TOUR ‘XX : COSMOS’.’ Starting with performances in Goyang on the 21st, 22nd, and 23rd, they will embark on an extensive tour comprising 33 shows across 19 cities worldwide, including North America, Europe, Oceania, and Asia. In addition, they plan to fill their 20th debut anniversary with a variety of projects, including fan events around the Han River and Jamsil areas and media exhibitions.
