The 2026 Incheon International Design Fair (INDEF) will be held from November 20 to 22, 2026, at Incheon Culture & Arts Center, 149 Yesul-ro, Namdong-gu, Incheon. Information on admission fees and whether advance reservations are required has not yet been released for 2026. This year marks the 20th edition and 20th anniversary, featuring newly organized archive sections covering 2006–2015 and 2016–2026. The official theme is “Twenty; Meeting Incheon,” and the fair consists of four exhibition halls and two programs.
The key change in the 20th-anniversary event in 2026 is an exhibition structure centered on the 20th anniversary. The official 2026 program is divided into four exhibition halls and two programs: Design Busking and the K-Design Concert.
The Design Enterprise Hall presents design-company portfolios, public design, and design history as of 2026 in one place. The International Exchange Exhibition features Korean design professors and overseas artists, with 50 exhibited works and seven participating countries.
The International Exchange Exhibition includes approximately 40 Korean design professors and 10 overseas artists. Its themes are INDEF’s 20th anniversary, the number 20, the sky, and the sea. The works are displayed as two-dimensional pieces and ceiling-hung installations.
The Future Designers Exhibition features students enrolled in design-related departments in the Incheon and Gyeonggi regions, presenting 120 graphic works and 20 video works. The Incheon Design Support Center Hall is operated by the Incheon Design Support Center (IDSC) in the Michuhol Exhibition Hall and consists of five spaces. It covers trends in industrial design and the craft and cultural industry, with the archive divided into THEN 2006–2015 and NOW 2016–2026.
The 2026 Incheon Design Support Center Hall also includes the first birthday party for the center’s character, “Ready.” The host is Incheon Metropolitan City, while the organizers are Incheon Technopark, the Incheon-Gyeonggi Design Business Association, and the Incheon Design Association.
From Exit 6 of Incheon Subway Line 1’s Arts Center Station, it is about a five-minute walk to Incheon Culture & Arts Center. Since official information does not provide the total travel time from Seoul or other cities, a map app should be used to calculate the route from your departure point.

Since daily operating hours and the last departure times have not yet been announced, it is not currently possible to confirm whether a same-day trip is feasible. If returning home late would be important to your schedule, it is safer to finalize a day-trip plan after the operating hours and return services are announced.

Start with the 50-work International Exchange Exhibition and the 120-work Future Designers Exhibition
The International Exchange Exhibition can be understood in terms of its 50 works and seven participating countries in 2026. Approximately 40 Korean design professors and 10 overseas artists are participating, presenting two-dimensional and ceiling-hung works on the themes of INDEF’s 20th anniversary, the number 20, the sky, and the sea.
At the Future Designers Exhibition, you can see works by current students from 10 universities in the Incheon and Gyeonggi regions. Since it includes 120 graphic works and 20 videos, you can explore still images and video projects separately.
The Incheon Design Support Center Hall is operated across five spaces in the Michuhol Exhibition Hall and presents a timeline of product applications from 2006–2015 and the expansion of design’s role from 2016–2026. Trends in industrial design and the craft and cultural industry, as well as the first birthday party for the character “Ready,” are also covered in this hall.
Design Busking is a competition stage where designers directly present their design philosophies and results, while detailed information and the schedule will be announced later. The K-Design Concert is a collaborative creation platform where citizens and designers propose alternatives to social problems.
The K-Design Concert is a program focused on ideas for solving social problems. While exhibitions of artworks can be approached mainly through figures and images, the busking presentations and collaborative creation content require a greater understanding of Korean, and information on English guidance or interpretation has not been released.

Because the 9th K-Design Concert is included, revise plans for a quiet visit
The 9th K-Design Concert and Design Busking are included, but the detailed schedule and performers for Design Busking have not yet been announced in the 2026 information. Travelers who want to quietly view only the exhibitions according to a fixed timetable should check the operating times of both stages before deciding when to visit.
Based on the publicly available information alone, it is not possible to determine whether English guidance or interpretation, wheelchair and stroller accessibility, on-site restrooms, information desks, luggage-storage areas, food options, or card and cash payment methods are available. Travelers who require these facilities or English explanations may find it difficult to finalize their itinerary until detailed notices are released.
Since admission fees and reservation requirements have not been determined, travelers who need to calculate costs in advance also face planning limitations. Before confirming a visit in November 2026, check the official page for notices on operating hours, tickets, reservations, languages, and accessibility. Until then, do not fix your budget or return transportation arrangements.
