ベストシーズン
Manripo Beach is best visited from late spring to early autumn, but if you want to enjoy the sea most comfortably, June through early September is especially suitable. Because the water is relatively shallow and the waves are calm, it works well for families.
Within the day, early morning or around sunset is recommended. The sun is less intense than at midday, and the beach feels more pleasant. If you want a quieter atmosphere, morning or late afternoon is ideal.
Weekdays are the best choice. On weekends and during holiday periods, visitor numbers rise sharply and it can become crowded, especially at midday. If you want a more relaxed experience, choose a weekday morning or late weekday afternoon.
滞在時間の目安
If you are only enjoying a beach walk and the sea view, 1 to 2 hours is enough. A typical visit including a cafe stop or a meal is around 2 to 4 hours. If you also plan to explore a nearby fish market or drive around the Taean area, a half-day to full-day schedule is more practical.

Since you may need to move within the terminal, it is best to check the on-site signs together with the station exit numbers.

フォトスポット
- Right end of the beach, entrance to Muktakseom: If you move to the far right end of Manripo Beach, you will reach the starting point leading to Muktakseom. Shoot facing the sea and the pedestrian bridge direction so the coastal path is included in the frame. Just before and after sunset is best.
- Middle of the oversea pedestrian bridge: Stand around the middle of the 180 m oversea pedestrian bridge leading to Muktakseom and take your photo. Facing the beach side lets you capture the path over the sea and the coastline in one frame. Light is soft and photos look best in the late afternoon to sunset.
- Entrance to the forest trail on Muktakseom: The beginning of the 155 m forest trail after crossing the bridge is the key spot. Shooting toward the inside of the forest path highlights the wooden trail atmosphere. Morning or around sunset is ideal.
- Autumn flower spot on the walking trail: In autumn, silver grass, chrysanthemums, and other fall flowers bloom along the walking path and throughout the forest, making it a great place for photos. Try shooting from a low angle so the flowers and trail appear together. Morning or late afternoon provides soft natural light.
夜景
The biggest charm of Manripo Beach at night is the combination of sea views and lighting effects. In particular, when you go up Manripo Observatory Tower, you can take in the wide beach and the sea at a glance, and at night the changing lights make the atmosphere even more dazzling.
At night, you can enjoy a laser show and scenic lighting, offering more to see than a simple beach stroll. After visiting the observatory, we also recommend walking down to the coast and following the illuminated shoreline.
The recommended time is from just after sunset until around 9 p.m. When a little light remains in the sky, the sea scenery and the lights look best together. Once it is fully dark, the laser show and night lighting become even clearer.
At night, the atmosphere is relatively romantic and cool, making it suitable for couples, families, and travelers who want to take photos. However, the laser show and lighting schedule may change depending on the on-site situation, so it is best to check on the day of your visit.
