TWICE Jihyo, leaving JYP? …"Chosen as the main character of my life"

[TV Daily, reporter Kim Jin-seok] TWICE member Jihyo shared her feelings directly after rumors surfaced among fans about a contract renewal and transfer.

On the 28th, Jihyo left a message for the fandom ONCE through the fan communication platform Bubble.

Jihyo said, "I could just have casual conversations with ONCE, but it still feels heavy to continue talking as if nothing happened." She added, "I had been thinking a lot and being careful before reaching out. I will sort things out properly so ONCE won't have to wait too long, and I’ll be able to share the news quickly."

She continued, "As the one in charge of my own life, I will think things through carefully and make a wise choice." She added, "As always, I hope ONCE will support me and trust me."

She revealed her affection for the team, saying, "I sincerely love and cherish the team called TWICE. With that feeling alone, I believe ONCE will understand us well."

Finally, Jihyo said, "I'm sorry for coming after so long." She added, "When I can talk about everyday things and joke around as usual, I'll come back again. Sleep well, eat well, rest well, and keep getting through it. Thank you as always."

Meanwhile, recently rumors of contract renewals and departures have been raised surrounding TWICE members Jeongyeon, Tzuyu, Chaeyoung, and Jihyo. In response, JYP Entertainment said, "TWICE is currently discussing contract renewals. We will provide guidance once the matter is finalized."
