How to Enjoy the First-Floor Exhibition and Apple Pizza Experience Separately at Geochang Apple Theme Park
Geochang Apple Theme Park showcases the history and varieties of Geochang apples and offers experiences involving sweetness, aroma, and cooking. The exhibition hall is free to enter, but it is closed on Wednesdays and during major holiday periods. Information on public transportation and general parking is limited, so you should plan your route separately before visiting.

The Geochang Apple Theme Park Exhibition Hall and the Goje-myeon Education Center Are Different Locations
Geochang Apple Theme Park is a space where visitors can see, enjoy, and experience the history and varieties of Geochang apples. The exhibition hall address for visitors is 3372-60 Geoham-daero, Geochang-eup, Geochang-gun, Gyeongsangnam-do, and the postal code is 50147. Geochang County’s information distinguishes the exhibition hall and education center as separate facilities.
The Goje-myeon Education Center is located at 160 Naedang-gil, Goje-myeon, Geochang-gun, Gyeongsangnam-do. Entering only “Geochang Apple Theme Park” as the address may cause confusion between the two facilities, so if your purpose is to see the exhibitions and take part in cooking activities, set the exhibition hall at 3372-60 Geoham-daero, Geochang-eup, as your destination.

Free Admission from 10:00 to 17:00; Closed on Wednesdays
The exhibition hall is open from 10:00 to 17:00 every Tuesday through Sunday. Admission is free, so no separate ticket is needed to view the exhibitions.
The regular closing day is Wednesday, and the hall is also closed on January 1, during the Lunar New Year holiday, and during the Chuseok holiday. The operating hours and closing dates are based on information last updated on May 2, 2025, so foreign visitors traveling during a holiday should check their travel date in advance. The inquiry phone number is 055-940-8782.

See Apple Varieties and Apple Trees Together at the Apple Exploration House on the First Floor
The first floor houses the “Apple Exploration House.” This space presents the history and stories of apples, apple facts and trivia, a photo zone, and domestic and international apple varieties, allowing visitors to explore apples not only as agricultural products but also from the perspectives of varieties and culture.
Visitors with children should especially check out the Apple Tree Playroom and Apple Bookstore. Rather than going straight outdoors, first review the basic information about apples in the first-floor exhibition and then go up to the second floor so that you do not miss the flow of the exhibition.

The Geochang Apple Future Laboratory on the Second Floor Focuses on Cultivation Rather Than Eating Experiences
The second floor houses the “Geochang Apple Future Laboratory.” Exhibits include promotional videos for the Future Exhibition Hall, apple sweetness measurement, an apple fragrance experience, and information about apple diseases, pests, and monitoring. A 2025 visitor review introduced the exhibition as featuring various Geochang apples, types of apple pests, and apple cultivation methods.
Therefore, this is closer to an exhibition space for understanding varieties and growing conditions than a store selling apples. A 2025 visitor review also mentioned using Apple-Ae Café, a rest facility, after viewing the second-floor exhibition, but the café’s operating hours, menu, and prices could not be confirmed in publicly available information.

Apple Pizza and Pie Experiences Require Reservations at 055-940-8784
The Apple Utilization Experience Center is on the first floor of the exhibition hall and is open to all Apple Theme Park visitors. Activities include making apple pizza, pie, ice cream, and cupcakes. Some activities require a phone reservation, so free admission to the exhibition hall and the cooking activities should not be treated as part of the same procedure.
According to the notice dated March 27, 2026, the activity fees are 15,000 won for handmade-dough pizza, 13,000 won for tortilla pizza, 8,000 won for apple griddle ice cream, and 15,000 won for apple pie. The experience center’s inquiry number is 055-940-8784, and the special experience scheduled for April 5, 2026, was to be offered to the first 25 participants at 10:00 a.m.
The Outdoor Park Has Real Apple Trees and Fruit
The outdoor park around the exhibition hall is described as a place suitable for picnics and outings. A 2025 visitor review reported that real apple trees grow in the outdoor park and that visitors could see fruit growing on the trees up close.
However, it cannot be assumed that fruit is always present. Visitors who want to see the apple trees should include the outdoor park in their route rather than viewing only the indoor exhibition hall and leaving. No information was found indicating that visitors may pick or touch the crops and fruit themselves.

The Difference Between the 7-Hectare Reference and Actual Travel Distances
Information from 2021 gives the main experience facilities a total area of approximately 7 hectares. Of this, the orchard facilities cover 1.35 hectares, including 1.1 hectares for apple cultivation and 0.25 hectares for schisandra cultivation. Park facilities and ancillary buildings account for 5.65 hectares, making it difficult to judge the entire site by looking only at the exhibition hall building.
Because these figures are based on facility data from 2021, they do not indicate the exact distance visitors currently walk or the travel time from the exhibition hall to the education center. The education center is described as having a parking lot and management building, a rest area, an ecological pond, a lawn, an observatory, and a multi-axis orchard demonstration plot. However, the exhibition hall and education center are in Geochang-eup and Goje-myeon, respectively, so they are not connected as a course within one building.
Things to Know in Advance About Public Transportation, Parking, and Wheelchair Access
The official directions confirm the exhibition hall address and a map view, but public transportation station names, exit numbers, bus routes, and walking times from stops have not been published. Visitors coming to Korea for the first time should therefore not assume that a route connects directly from a Geochang train station or bus terminal. Check same-day public transportation and taxi routes separately in a map app.
There are three accessible parking spaces. Wheelchair access is possible via the ramp beside the main entrance, and the facility has an elevator and an accessible unisex restroom. General parking availability, parking fees, stroller accessibility and rental availability have not been confirmed in publicly available information. Information about photography restrictions, cash-only payment, English guidance, and audio guides is also unavailable.
