The dining area opens at 11:00 and stops taking orders 30 minutes before closing. So on winter weekdays, it is safer to start eating around 19:30 and, if you have items to buy, visit the stores before dining. Some stores may announce an earlier closing time of 30 minutes, so you should also check the day’s store notices.

From Exit 8 of Hapjeong Station, bus 2200 to Exit 1 of GTX Unjeong Jungang Station, route 037

From western Seoul, taking bus 2200 at Exit 8 of Hapjeong Station takes about 1 hour, and the official guide lists the interval at about 20 minutes. From Exit 1 of Dehwa Station on Line 3, bus 900 takes about 1 hour 30 minutes, with an interval of about 40 minutes.

From Exit 1 of GTX Unjeong Jungang Station, Paju village bus 037 takes about 30 minutes, with an interval of about 30 minutes. From Exit 1 of Geumchon Station, route 033 or 036 takes about 30 minutes but runs at about 1-hour intervals, and from Munsan Bus Terminal, route 038 takes about 40 minutes with an interval of about 1 hour 40 minutes.

• When driving from Seoul, the official guide suggests a route via Olympic-daero or Gangbyeonbuk-ro, then Jayuro, and into Pilsung-ro.

A 6-hour itinerary for foreign visitors, created by day tours departing from Myeong-dong and Hongdae

In March 2026, Shinsegae Simon launched a Paju day tour for foreign visitors with inbound travel agency Wondertrip. The tour departs in the morning from Myeong-dong and Hongdae, spends about 6 hours at the outlet, and returns to the departure point.

The tour was announced as operating twice a week, on Mondays and Saturdays, and reservations were available through Klook and Trip.com. The listed price was about KRW 15,000 per person, and at launch a 1+1 promotion and premium lounge admission ticket were also announced. Operating days, prices, and benefits may vary by product, so you should check the latest conditions on the reservation page.

Discounts vary by date, as with the 15th-anniversary event from March 20 to 29, 2026

From March 20 to 29, 2026, the Paju branch held a 15th-anniversary event and announced additional discounts and family sales for more than 200 participating brands. At the time, Adidas announced an additional 30% discount for purchases of two or more items, Lacoste and Setter up to 60%, and Tommy Hilfiger up to 70% off in special promotions.

At the same event, customers spending KRW 600,000 or more with Samsung Card on Friday through Sunday received Shinsegae gift certificates worth 5% of the purchase amount by tier, and customers spending KRW 400,000 or more with Samsung or Shinhan Card on weekends received a KRW 20,000 SK fuel voucher. These conditions vary by event period, card, and brand, so before visiting you should check the event for that date and each store’s excluded items.

Allocate 4 to 6 hours based on an 11:00 dining area opening

If it is your first visit, arriving at 10:30, when general stores open, and looking around the brands you are interested in before eating at the specialty dining area after 11:00 is a way to spend time without breaking it up too much. Dining area orders close 30 minutes before closing, so if you plan to have dinner, you need to calculate the order cutoff before your return transportation time.

If your purpose is clearly shopping, 4 hours is realistic; if you include clothing, accessories, a meal, and the outdoor plaza, around 6 hours is more practical. This also aligns with the foreign day tour design, which sets the outlet stay at about 6 hours.
