拍照地點

If you want to capture city views and seasonal scenery together, the spots below are the best for photos.

  • Mogilsin Park viewpoint: A high area inside the park, good for capturing a wide view of Bucheon city. If you shoot with your camera facing directly toward the city, buildings and sky will both appear in the frame. Near sunset is the best time.
  • Beoman-ro photo street: A section connected from Mogilsin Park. While walking along the road, it is good to take photos facing the side where the road and the city view are visible together. Suitable for perspective-rich street photos. Late afternoon is recommended.
  • Higher ground around Uteogyan Neighborhood Park: Since it is relatively high in Bucheon, it is favorable for scenic photos. Shoot toward the direction where the city spreads out widely. On a clear morning, the view is even sharper.
  • Beombaksan entrance: Cherry blossoms and Japanese cornelian cherry trees are the key highlights. If you shoot toward the side where the trees surround the path, portrait photos turn out well. Spring mornings to early afternoons are the brightest.
  • Around Yongmotnae (Yeokgok 3 Bridge): A great spot to include both the bridge and the waterway. If you shoot from the bridge in the direction the waterway continues, you can get a stable composition. The soft light of morning is ideal.
  • Okgil Retention Basin: Suitable for photos with reflections on the water and sky. If you place the retention basin directly in front and shoot from a low angle, the reflection will stand out more. Near sunset is recommended.
  • Pearl S. Buck Rainbow Trail and Seongmujeong area: On the east-west section across Seongjusan, you can take in the full Bucheon skyline at a glance. Shoot widely toward the open-view direction. Late afternoon is the most dramatic.
  • Jeong Jiyong Nostalgia Trail and Manigogae Cherry Blossom Road: A representative spring photo spot. If you shoot straight along the inside of the cherry blossom road, you can create a tunnel-like composition. Early morning has fewer people and softer light.

In spring, cherry trees are the biggest attraction. Starting from Mogilsin Park and walking through the forest trail and park sections lets you see cherry blossoms and fresh young greenery together. The weather is mild, making it the best season for walking, and morning or late afternoon is good for photography.

In summer, the shade created by oak and pine trees makes walking relatively cool. The areas around Yeokgokcheon and the retention basin are good for waterside scenery and ecological observation. However, daytime can be hot and humid, so prepare water, a hat, and insect repellent.

In autumn, the colors of the forest trail’s foliage deepen, showing the richest scenery. The forest path around Beombaksan and the park connection section have a pleasant fallen-leaf atmosphere, and the cool temperature makes it suitable for longer walks. As it is a good season for walking, it is also nice to take a break at the cafe street.

In winter, the view between the trees opens up more, allowing you to enjoy the river and park scenery cleanly. Some park and downtown sections are nice for evening light atmosphere, but since the sun sets early, it is safer to start before sunset. On cold days, a windproof jacket and non-slip sneakers are recommended.

The recommended route is to start at Mogilsin Park and walk in this order: Uteogyan Neighborhood Park, cafe street, Beombaksan forest trail, Yongmotnae (Yeokgokcheon), Burul Park Okgil Retention Basin, Sandeul History and Culture Park, and Haeppsal Park. You can enjoy spring cherry blossoms, summer waterside walks, autumn foliage, and quiet winter urban forest scenery respectively.
