Operating hours are usually 10:00–17:30 every day, but they may vary depending on the season or weather, so it is best to check before visiting.

For the day of the week, visiting on a weekday from Tuesday to Friday is recommended. Weekends and public holidays can be busier because of family visitors. In particular, late morning to early afternoon may become quite crowded.

Shooting from the front according to the artwork instructions produces the best effect. Since it is indoors, the time of day has less impact, making it a good alternative when the weather is not favorable.

Cheongpung Lake Cable Car is a great place to ride up comfortably to the summit of Bibongsan after sunset and enjoy Jecheon’s night view. The summit area is lit up, creating a livelier atmosphere, and the lights around Cheongpung Lake and the mountain ridges make it a good spot for photography.

In particular, it has recently become known as one of Jecheon’s representative night-view attractions, and along the walking path that continues along the deck, there are luminarie installations reminiscent of a European castle, creating a pleasant nighttime strolling atmosphere.

The recommended time is from just after sunset until it gets completely dark. While some color remains in the sky, the scenery is even more beautiful, and after dark the lights and the illumination around the lake become more distinct.

Summer: The deep greenery and cool lake views are attractive. Even on hot days, you can enjoy the scenery relatively comfortably by cable car, making it good for family travelers. Since the sunlight is strong, it is best to prepare a hat, sunglasses, and water.

Autumn: The most popular season, when the surrounding mountains turn colorful with fall foliage, creating a strong contrast with Cheongpung Lake. Since it can be crowded during peak foliage season, it is best to arrive with plenty of time.

The boarding area is on the 4th floor of the cable car building, so after arriving at the parking lot (B1) or the 1st floor, go up to the 4th floor.
