BTS Jimin heated up Mexico City and captivated fans.

On May 8 (local time), Jimin completely captivated the audience with a flawless performance on the first day of the concert, 'BTS World Tour 'Arirang' in Mexico City,' held at Estadio GNP Seguros.

Jimin, who had drawn attention with a movie-prince-like vibe during his meeting with the Mexican president on the 7th, dominated the stage at the concert by exuding rockstar charm. In particular, he showcased a fantastic performance befitting a 'genius at his main job' and even revealed his abs unexpectedly in the middle of the show, heating up the stadium.

At the end of the performance that day, Jimin delivered a Spanish greeting he had prepared in advance, drawing huge cheers. Having previously moved fans by reading a Japanese letter at a concert in Japan, Jimin conveyed his sincerity to fans in the language of the country where the concert was being held, offering the joy befitting a world tour.

According to a Forbes article dated May 7, Jimin has recorded the highest streaming among K-pop solo artists with over 97 million on Mexico's Spotify chart. Across all K-pop, he is drawing immense popularity locally, ranking second only to BTS.

As a group member and as a solo artist with a unique presence, fans carried out support events to cheer on Jimin's concert in Mexico. An ad truck covered on three sides with Jimin advertisements drove around the stadium where the concert was held, and certification photos and videos shared on SNS are drawing attention.

Meanwhile, BTS, which includes Jimin, wrapped up the first day of their Mexico City performance and, after one day of rest, will continue the intense concert heat over two days on the 10th and 11th.
