BTS 金碩珍（Jin）入榜《Billboard Japan Artists 100》第70週…創下“大紀錄”

BTS Jin once again showcased his dazzling popularity and powerful influence as a solo artist, shining with his presence.

On May 2, the official account of Korean Sales (@koreansales_twt) reported that Jin had remained on Billboard Japan Artist 100 for 70 weeks. This is a remarkable record, as only three Korean solo artists in history, including Jin, have achieved it.

Jin's solo mini album 2nd album 'Echo' title track 'Don't Say You Love Me' has received immense love worldwide. It ranked No. 1 on Spotify's global chart, the world's largest music streaming platform, dated May 25, 2025, making it the first song by an Asian singer in 2025 to reach No. 1 on the Spotify Global Chart.

In the history of Japan's Spotify charts, the longest-running No. 1 K-pop song record is held by BTS's 'Butter' at 100 days at No. 1, followed by BTS's 'Dynamite' at 84 days at No. 1, while Jin's 'Don't Say You Love Me' ranked third with 80 days at No. 1. As a solo artist, he has written a new chapter by standing shoulder to shoulder with BTS. Of course, this is also the best record among K-pop solo artists.

Jin also made history as the only K-pop solo artist whose two songs reached No. 1 on Spotify Japan's Daily Top Songs chart. Jin and BTS are the only Korean artists in history to have multiple songs reach No. 1 on the Spotify Japan Daily Top Songs chart. The title track 'Running Wild' from Jin's first mini album 'HAPPY' broke BTS's 'Butter' record and achieved the highest one-day streaming total ever for a K-pop artist on Spotify Japan's Daily Top Songs chart.

In Oricon's 2025 annual chart, Jin's solo album 'Echo' ranked 39th, setting the No. 1 record among K-pop solo artists. It was the only entry among K-pop solo acts, proving Jin's unmatched popularity in Japan as well.

Jin's 'Echo' also ranked 24th in Billboard Japan's 2025 annual chart (tracking period November 25, 2024 to November 23, 2025) in the 'Download Album Chart', taking the highest position among all K-pop artists, including both groups and solo acts, demonstrating overwhelming popularity.

In Billboard Japan's 2025 annual 'Top Album Sales Chart', Jin's 'Echo' ranked 41st, the best record among K-pop solo acts. In particular, Jin became the first K-pop solo artist to place all of his solo releases to date, one solo single and two albums (2022, 2024, and 2025), on Billboard Japan's annual 'Top Album Sales Chart', with each single and album achieving the highest rank among K-pop solo albums in their respective years, writing a new chapter in history.

On the 'Oricon Weekly Video Chart' announced on February 5, Jin's solo concert Blu-ray '#RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR in JAPAN' ranked No. 1, proving his explosive popularity and influence. '#RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR in JAPAN' features Jin's solo concert at Kyocera Dome Osaka, and for a solo concert, even the 8th floor at the top of Kyocera Dome and restricted-view seats were opened, selling out completely and setting a rare record in Japan.

According to Billboard Top Boxscores, Jin's two performances of '#RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR' held at Kyocera Dome Osaka in Japan on July 12-13 last year generated a total revenue of 9.6 million dollars, making history as the highest and largest Boxscore record ever for a K-pop solo artist's concert schedule held at a single venue. This is the No. 1 Boxscore record among K-pop solo artists of all time, and the second record overall among K-pop artists including groups.

During BTS's Japan Tokyo Dome performances on April 17 and 18 for the Arirang World Tour (BTS WORLD TOUR 'ARIRANG' IN JAPAN), Jin sold out the merchandise (pickets) first among the seven BTS members on both days, making it clear that Japan is 'Jinland'.
