Jisoo attended the opening ceremony of the 9th Cannes International Series Festival (Canneseries), held in Cannes, France, on the 23rd (local time).

That day, Jisoo appeared on the pink carpet in a soft light-pink dress and showed exceptional fan service by signing autographs and taking photos with fans.

Afterward, Jisoo received the ‘Madame Figaro Rising Star Award’ presented by the French media outlet Madame Figaro. The ‘Madame Figaro Rising Star Award’ is given to individuals who exert unparalleled influence in the industry.

Madame Figaro introduced Jisoo by saying, “Jisoo, who expanded her activities from singer to actress, has already been recognized for her highly promising acting career.”

Stepping onto the stage to receive the award, Jisoo held the trophy in her arms and thanked local fans, saying, “Merci beaucoup.”

Previously, the Cannes International Series Festival stated, “Jisoo has established herself as a global pop icon through sold-out world tours and numerous hit songs,” adding, “With more than 80 million Instagram followers, she is showing powerful influence across various fields beyond music.”

Meanwhile, recent reports said that the older brother of a famous girl group member, Mr. A, was arrested in flagrante delicto on suspicion of sexually harassing a female BJ and is under police investigation. Afterwards, Mr. A was identified as Jisoo’s older brother.

In response, attorney Eun Hyun-ho of Kim & Chang Law Offices, Jisoo’s legal representative, stated on the 20th, “This matter is completely unrelated to the artist and Blisoo, and any content about it is false information.” He added, “Jisoo started as a trainee at a young age and became independent early, living apart from her family for a long period of time, so she could not have known about or been involved in that person’s private life. We make it clear that the individual in question currently has no legal or business relationship with Blisoo.”
